A national championship is a wonderful thing, but if you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it.

Good decision, Jade.  I didn't think it was an awful comment but it would've been used against you somewhere down the road.

Yeah, I saw the date and the reference jumped into my head, but then I thought trivializing something that serious wasn't a good idea.

I'm sure none of you guys would remember a coach who provided this much jewelry to Auburn.  Over 600 men are National Champions because of him.  That's called creating a legacy and men with legacies get remembered.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to download the pictures from my phone sometime soon.  I have a pic of him from back in November.  He looks remarkably well.

My bad, what I meant to say was....

Call security, tell them that Alabama stole four of those rings!

1964 - Arkansas 11-0, Alabama 10-1 with their loss to Texas(who Arkansas had beaten) in the Sugar Bowl.
1965 - Alabama 9-1-1, Michigan State, Nebraska, and Arkansas were all 10-1.
1973 - 11-1 after losing to Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl...finished 4th in the AP poll.
1978 - 11-1 with a loss to 12-1 USC.

Settle down, and don't bother rebutting, I'm just messin' with you.

Fuck that whiskey swilling, cigarette smoking, wife beating, low down, high smelling dead son of a bitch. I hope a flea bitten dog shits on his grave, and a homeless crackhead pisses on his tombstone.
