I was curious today and decided to check out the Portal.  It has/had 530 or so players in it for this year alone.  I may have miscounted some so let's go with 530.

530 divided by 85 since that is the amount of scholarship players you can have.....carry the 2, add the 1, minus 46/77, leave the remainder and that gives you 6.23 teams that could be fielded from the portal.  Auburn list 100 players on the roster.  115 DI teams times 100...…...naught plus naught plus 13/82 would be approximately 11,500 players. So basically approximately 5% of all DI players are in the transfer portal?  This shit is getting out of hand.
