Have you seen their offense?  It pretty much is all about him.

#1 Rushing team in the NFL but 29th in passing.  Sitting at 4th in PPG.  Give them one other decent receiver and better play calling and they'd be unstoppable.  The D is always going to be top 10.

Cam accounts for nearly 30% of their rushing yards, has the most rushing TDs on the team and 40% of his runs result in a first down (leads the NFL in this particular stat).

So, yeah, it pretty much is all Cam.

Agree that a decent receiving option beyond Olsen would make this team unstoppable.  Shame they lost Smith...and Benjamin.

I don't disagree with any of that.  Just cut 50% or 136/215th's of the in-game show-boating.

Alshon Jeffery or Calvin Johnson would look damn fine in Carolina Blue

Meh the most I saw him do was the first down thing.  He celebrates with his players, he always looks like he is having fun out there.  His damn smile is infectious.  I think it pumps up his team personally.

Think they could both be had relatively inexpensively after this year.  Make it so.

Overboard on the emphasis on "relatively," especially vis a vis Megatron, for the slow kids.

Not real familar with J. Stewart. Is he really that fumble prone or was that a byproduct of the monsoon last night?

Mostly rain.  He's been pretty solid in his time in Carolina.

Speaking of Cam, Mike & Mike just had Chris Carter on and they were talking extensively about him and how they run the offense through him.  They said Olsen is a great tight end but after that, every single WR would be a 3rd or 4th option on every other team.  I watched a good bit of the first half last night but didn't see the comparison graphic they were also talking about. They said his height is 6'5".  So, they showed him next to JJ Watt. (Same height)  His weight is 250 and they showed him next to DeMarcus Ware.  He ran a 4.59 40.  Put him next to Lavion (sp?) Bell who ran a 4.6.  I think they said he has a 35" vertical and had him beside Megatron who has a 34" vertical.

That was a good game. Carolina needs some WRs, no doubt.

I was rooting for Bray, just didn't want him to bust one and win the game.

Probably what they were saying. Hey, if you can do it with that defense, Cam, Olsen, a decent OLine and a bunch of 3-5 rated RBs and WRs, more power to you. Has worked for New England.

The Carolina Camthers go to 9-0.  Newton had a solid day at 21-26 for 217 and one score.
