If The Regular Season Ended Today
« on: November 19, 2014, 11:31:42 AM »
and your playoff participants were Bama, Oregon (TJSF), FSU and State....who would you pull for?

What if Bama and FSU squared off first?  Does your hatred of all things Bama trump wanting to see the rapist, thief, vandal, autograph signing, FHRITP screaming thug, crash and burn?  I have a feeling the survey would say 97.99% Bama fail.  I may be wrong.  What say you?

I think most of us would want State to beat Oregon (TJSF) simply to see continued domination by the SEC. Or could you not care less about the Dawgies from Starkvegas?

The most intriguing question is, if Bama and MSU matched up, would more than 7 people outside the two fan bases even watch?

As is stands, bama would play MSU and FSU would play Oregon. I would pull for MSU and Oregon with MSU to win it all.

I want to see us put a full game together and knock the turds out of the playoff.

But

If they make the playoffs, I would like to see Oregon hang about 50 on them in the first round.

Haven't looked so I'm asking.  Is it 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3 or 1/3 and 2/4?

Fuck the SEC.  I'm tired of these assholes.

I would root for Florida State over Alabama and Oregon over Miss State.

Then I would root for Oregon over Florida State.

If it's Alabama vs. Miss State, I would root for Miss State then Oregon over Florida State then Oregon over Miss State.

If the championship game is Alabama vs. Miss State, I would watch, and I would root whole heartedly for Miss State.

None of them. Hoping TCU or Baylor can get in and fuck up shit. Both of them are underdogs with coaches that I like. Flies in the ointment.

I can't argue too much with the top 4. Im not that high on FSU or Oregon but there is no dominate team this year so spots 1-6 are probably pretty close to each other.

But first, I'd like the Rapist to give AIDS to Yeldon...  after Yeldon tears his ACL and has to get his legs amputated from catching the Ebola.  I also wouldn't mind seeing The Rapist give crabs to Saban's wife.

zombie apocalypse.

Don't want to see any of the four current choices play for anything.

Is that possible?

Auburn beats Alabama
Ole Miss beats Miss State
Missouri beats Ole Miss (SECCG)
Arizona State beats Oregon (Pac 12 championship)
Florida, Duke beats Florida State?

The problem is I think if we beat Alabama, it won't be a blowout.  If Miss State loses to Ole Miss, they'll have lost their last two big games meaning they'll be left out.  Missouri would represent the SEC in the playoff with two losses, but even then, maybe not with that loss to Indiana.  Georgia could slip in with two losses, but getting blown out by Florida doesn't look good to the committee.  To sum up, I think a two loss Alabama team could slip in as the SEC representative if they left Missouri out. See 2011's and 2013's final BCS rankings to learn more.

Arizona State would go as the Pac 12 rep.  Ohio State gets in.  Baylor/TCU gets in.

So it's possible, and I am now intently watching on November 29th to see this scenario begin to play out.

To add on to what THS said earlier:

Fuck any SEC school that is not Auburn.  Even if it were MSU and Ole Miss in there.  I would root for whoever they are playing.  Only one other team out there that would make me root for another SEC school and that is Clemson and their bammer ass ways.  Unless they played bammer then you root for mother nature to win.  I still hold a grudge from 2010 and all the shit we took.  Fuck'em and feed'em fish heads!  The rest of the SEC can kiss my ass!

You said that in 2011, I'm sure.
Everyone was screaming that we needed a playoff so that shit wouldn't happen again.  My point then was that a playoff actually increases chances of rematches from the regular season.  It really is no different now than it was then.  The system we have says the 4 best teams according to the committee are in.  If any of those teams happened to play each other during the season, then so be it.

There is a big difference Goat-Boy, in your rematch of THE GREATEST GAME THE WORLD WILL EVER BEAR WITNESS TO, Oklahoma State also had 1 loss and had just as much a right to have a chance to play for the MNC as bama did, except for the fact bama had already gotten beat by LSU.

It would have been #2 bama vs #3 Okie State and #4 vs #1 LSU.  Then if bama won and LSU had won no one would have said shit.
