FSU QB transfer may/will visit Auburn as graduate student and would be eligible to play immediately.

I thought the SEC made a rule against this after we recruited Russel Wilson?

Yeah, it didn't move when I read this but with what is on campus, well, at least Trickett is serviceable.

Well, it could at least be our best option untill either Marshall or JJ are up to speed.

Y'all are some Debbie Downers. Dude's not a Heisman winner by any means, but he's no joke, which is what we apparently have on campus right now.

A better than average QB will make light years difference with this team in particular. We've got all the pieces to compete except a QB. Would be huge, IMO.

That being said, nothing ever works out the way I hope, so he'll probably go to Washington State, or hell, Arkansas State, and beat our ass.

Supposedly, it's between South Florida, Michigan, West Virginia, and us?

People seem to think South Florida is the main contender. I gotta think Craig helps us here in a big way.

Yeah, one have to think his previous relationship with Craig would play a big role in his decision making.

He's serviceable, but does he have the extra dimension (legs) necessary to make Gus's offense hum?

Would I take him? You bet.  Would he be the best option? No.

He would be serviceable and he doesn't have the legs from what I remember watching him that we all want, but neither did Chris Todd and that O turned out pretty good.

Can he get the ball from his hand to the hands of another player the same color uniform as him?

If so, this would be a huge get.

Would be a huge get.  Unless Marshall or Johnson can play immediately, which I wouldn't count on.

Frazier and Wallace just look.......well, they look bad.

Marshall bothers me. He did pass for 3K  18 TD's and rushed for 1K with 13 rushing TD's, which is great, but what scares me is his ball protection.  He did throw 20 INT's and fumbled 8 losing 5.  That is not good.

Love this strategy -- miss out on QB (Jameis Winston), then take the guy who lost the battle for the starting job with him.

I think the reason he is eligible and Russell Wilson wasn't may be because this guy has 2 years left and Wilson only had one.
