It's seems impossible to me that they wouldn't know what was going on.  The athletic department has processes in place so that things like this don't fall through the cracks.  It's not even football specific or the responsibility of the staff.  They have people whose job it is to follow these kinds of things and report accordingly. 

Maybe he was going to class....maybe he just failed all of them.  Maybe he's just that dumb?  I hope not, but maybe that's the case.  Go back and look at those pictures of the bammers at the Walmarks celebration....I guarantee a lot of those people would have a 0.00 GPA even if they went to class.

A 0.0 does not indicate academic stupidity to me....it indicates laziness, immaturity, and bad choice making.

I took it for him....duh.

He could've taken a bunch of practice exams in a cram session.  That tends to work for people that study for certification exams.  Doesn't make them any more competent or know the material any better, though.

Doubt it's true.  I was the laziest, class skipping'est fucker EVER my first 4 years.  And I NEVER got a 0.00 in a semester.

Even if you show up a FEW times in a semester, there is bound to be one teacher that will at least give you a D just because they won't want to see you back again.

I got a B in a class once... and I only went 5 times the entire semester, and NONE of them after halfway.

Meaning Spring semester, to pull up his grades and what not.
