Pat's Place
« on: December 11, 2007, 01:36:21 PM »
My neighbor goes hunting with Coach Dye. He sent me these pictures. Not too bad.

Is that a big pile of Craneworks huggers on the floor in the second picture?

Somebody let David in ?

Just like WP used to be. You post a picture, and within minutes someone has found some minutia buried in the photo. Almost brings a tear to my eye.

There is a shot of the wall that Dye keeps his Auburn memorabilia on. It even has the original shot of him and Bear at Legion Field. I will try to find it tonight and post it.

That doesn't really qualify as scoop. I mean, we all know that you are a fucktard.

Figures.

Folks over there are so worried about being the first to know.

Actually, they are worried about letting everyone know that they were the first to know.

Except for PC, he's just an idiot. Who doesn't know. That he doesn't know.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I would love to hear the story behind that picture on the wall of the guys standing in front of "Iron Mike" (statue that stands in front of the Infantry School house at Ft. Benning) and the guys standing in front of the huge CIB (Combat Infantry Badge).

Besides the Auburn/UGA game being played in Columbus back in the day and Ft. Benning having its own football team back in the day; I have no clue what those pictures are about.

Two things.  First I can verify those as authentic since the Warden provided him with all the heart pine planks that you see pictured.

I cannot tell you the entire story behind the picture but I can tell you that after Dye graduated from UGA he played in some sort of league/allstar game based around Ft. Benning.  He then went on to play a couple of years in the CFL before being hired by the drunk.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

What is The Samford Society of Auburn University?  Is that like the Skull and Bones or the Machine?  Is Pat Dye the man behind the curtain?

Donnors who give more than $24,999 but less than $100,000. If you watch the scoreboard during the games, they will reel off the names of the donnors. Good luck reading them though. They blow through a couple hundres names in a few seconds.
