What’s the problem, really?
« on: May 27, 2018, 02:14:31 PM »
I ask this in all seriousness, hoping for someone (not prowler) to provide some legitimate insight.

Hillary is on a tour with Chelsea pissing and moaning about how terrible things are and what a mess Trump is making. The shockingly left media is loathe to give him credit for anything. The Hollywood morons whine and mock.

But what has he done as president that’s wrong?

He didn’t collude with the Russians.  He didn’t obstruct anything.  It’s pretty clear that the “ruling elite” manufactured scandal in an effort to undermine his candidacy and then delegitimize his administration.   Not just democrats.  Republicans too.

Everything he’s done while in Office has been remarkably effective.  He’s dealing with the world from a position of strength, not capitulation.

We are safer, stronger, richer and more stable.

His response to Syria showed power.  His management of the Korean issue shows shrewdness and guts. His demand that we take better care of our borders is patriotic and proud.  This president has given me a sense of pride and hope that I haven’t had in years.  And it feels good.

And yet all they do from CNN, msnbc, the networks, that abominable (deport him) troll Trevor Noah, the late night dickheads, the Hollywood cabal  is chip away at him.  No facts, no truth. Just snide shots that demean the man and the Office. They do it in ways that would never be tolerated should the same have been done toward the Imam or Bitchlery.

Do Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, Clinton, etc really want us to return to the hell that was?

The only thing that gives me any pause is the overblown Stormy issue.  So he banged a porn skank years before he even considered political aspirations.  I get that people close to him probably wouldn’t want her popping up with the stories she’d been trying to sell for years.  She’d already been paid for those stories by the National Enquirer who found them so lacking they didn’t even run it.  I’d feel better if he just said “whoops, sorry” and moved on. Maybe a backdated cease and desist?  Or just pay the money back. I mean he works really hard and has been out in the sun.  That’s enough.

It's really very simple. Trump is sane while Billary, Chelsea and the liberal left are all brainwashed sheeple who belong in a place like Bryce Hospital. The greed and taxation the left did during the Obama administration clusterfuck ruined this country in many ways. It's like a wound healing. First, you have to stop the bleeding. Then, after healing takes place, there is a period of rehabilitation. I'm not sure which stage we are in, but the bleeding continues every time the Federal Reserve gives Congress currency to spend.

I'm waiting for the default to happen.

The problem is pretty simple really.

Trump is taking away the power that the Clintons, Bush's, Kennedy's, etc have in this world and they are trying to destroy him for it. It really simply boils down to that.

^^in essence, absolutely correct. Although I don’t believe he’s been completely successful or will complete the task. He’s come closer than anyone and made a huge dent.

Funny, I didn't see all this bitching and moaning from you when Fox News & Alex Jones were trashing Obama and his family. I also didn't see it when people were hanging an effigy of Obama.

Also, Trump ran for Presidency back in 2000. The affair between he and Stormy Daniels happened in 2006, the affair between he and Melania also happened after "Trump had political aspirations".

As for the National Enquirer not running it, that's Trump's favorite paper, his buddies weren't going to run it.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You've debased yourself and ruined numerous threads.  I've been a party to that by trying to either engage you or mock the appalling ignorance displayed.

I always thought you were just acting on some level.  Thought you couldn't possibly be serious.  If you are just clowning, stop.  It ceased being funny a long time ago and has had a detrimental impact on this forum.  If you ARE serious in these outlandish ideas you espouse?  Please get help.

So maybe you can explain what the president has done wrong?
I'll give you that you don't want to secure the borders and that you disagree with the immigration policy. I don't agree with you, but at least I know why someone would believe what they believe.
What else?

Nothing to do with the president.  He's "do better" finger pointing.

Dislikes the fact that his "higher thoughts" are in the minority.  Blames me, essentially.  I've already accepted that burden. There were times I should have let it go (but I was right, so I didn't).

I have no problem with different opinions and always appreciated the fact that his seemed well-reasoned and thoughtfully considered.  I do, however, honestly believe wes fell prey to Trump Derangement Syndrome.  He's become unwilling to even entertain the idea that Trump might actually be a good president and ignores all the positives in a quest to demean or demonize.  In that, he joined an alliance with the resident shrieking loon and got pushed to the fringe.  When you're rushing to the defense of indefensible positions merely because "Trump bad" is ricocheting around in your brain?  It changes everything.

The "echo chamber" he refers to is the fact that most of us (like most of the country) share a relatively similar viewpoint, based on similar experiences.

Trump in a nuttz shell for me:

As Trump started gaining popularity during the campaign, I started paying attention to his platform.  I agreed with virtually every talking point, right down the line.

Trash the bad trade deals to bring jobs back to Murrica'

Trash Obama Care.  It definitely hurt my business and my wallet.

Actually tackle the illegal immigration issue head on, unlike every Prez before him.

Unapologetically take on terrorism.

Strengthen the military.

Focus on the infrastructure.

Free condoms for elementary school kids and "Porn Movie Tuesdays."

I also found his "style" to be somewhat refreshing, in that he simply was not a politician and had no use for political correctness.  He had, and still has, no filter.  Early on, he bashed illegal immigrants, saying Mexicans be raping err'body up in here.  The PC world hammered him and he lost countless sponsors and millions of $$$.  That only seemed to empower him.  He seemed to feed off the negativity.  But I think it was more a matter of the ground swell of support that was happening from Joe Schmo at the water cooler who had also been saying, "Damn right.  Mexicans been raping err'body up in here....Frick Machmud.  Don't coddle those terrorists.  Blow em' up".  We were coming off 8 years of a leader who was too afraid to call people who executed Americans by cutting their heads off on camera, "Radicals".  Trump didn't care.  He called everything and everyone as he saw it/them.  Show of hands.  How many here think Hillary is a crook?  Trump publically calls her "Crooked Hillary" every time he refers to her.  He just doesn't care.

But, he was still a carnival barker to me.  I didn't want him as my President.  I wished any of the other candidates had his platform and were willing to take on these issues, but with a lot less of the bravado.  When I went to vote, I probably stared at the ballot for a full minute in disbelief that these were the only two choices.  But, here we are.

Now, I find myself pulling for the man like no President before him.  He's doing everything in his power to accomplish exactly what he said he would do. And he's doing it in the face of more vitriol, bias and pure hatred than I have ever seen in my lifetime. Now, I've finally started to get how the man operates.  He approaches every issue as a negotiation and he's the one negotiating from a position of absolute power.  You threaten us with nukes?  Fine. Mine's bigger than yours.  He starts with absolutes and knows there will have to be compromises in the end to get the deal done.  Yeah, I still wish he'd take a long break from the twatters.  Otherwise, I hope the man keeps doing exactly what he's been doing the last year and a half.

Yeah, it's definitely Prowler's fault.
Maybe it’s not all Prowler’s fault.
But I honestly feel like I’ve done nothing wrong. And I’ve been told that there are supposed friends threatening to beat my ass behind my back, for “ruining the x”.
First of all, how could anyone “ruin” the x?
Can one ruin a train wreck? Or, a 48 hour run-and-shit virus?
Secondly, if you actually want to fight about it, say it to my face, “friend”.
I don’t need any of this. I’m much more important than you realize. And, I will report your gay stuff to the moderator.
You know who you are.
Keep it up. Idiot.
