What he's trying to do is what insecure coaches with vastly inferior talent do.

And I don't understand it at all.

Awesome, let's run more of that, plays that average 4 yards in high school will surely do the same against D1 talent...

I know this isn't a good thing to say, but if QB Jeremy Johnson and RT Robert Leff were to get hurt for the season it wouldn't be a bad thing. Sometimes HCs need to be forced to make the right decision and getting those two off the field would be a step in the right direction.

Then root for Jay Jacobs to be fired too.

And put your money where your mouth is. I attended the Jacksonville State game last year thinking I would attend 3-4 games last season. I didn't attend any more after that.

I won't attend any games this season.

Granted, I'm just a peon buying scrub tickets from scalpers. I have no power. But those with season tickets and those who buy significant amounts of merch need to lead this charge.

You do know after that shit show I won't be spending my money either.

Nothing permanent, just enough to force the coaches to make the needed decision. Jeremy Johnson does not need to see the field again. He should've transferred to a college that will actually teach him how to be an effective QB. If I was a highly touted QB and Auburn offered me a full scholarship, I'd frame the offer letter (because I'm an Auburn fan), but I would not consider them as my next level destination. I'd rather go somewhere that can teach & help me be a better QB...same goes if I was a TE.

I know it was just the first game and everything, but the QB play is nearly the same as last year...as is the play calling, minus the new 360 degree spin play that averaged 0 yards on 4 attempts.

Based on the math there we should be running more Wild Kerryon packages.

A lot of Kerryon Johnson's big gains at RB were because the defense had to respect JF3's running ability on the zone read.

Did White lineup at wide receiver a bunch?  There's no way he had that many snaps at QB...

Too bad JF3 isn't better in the passing game.

Hell, at this point how bad would it be putting Woody Barrett in the game?

Is there any room for him?  You can only have eleven on the field at a time.  If you put four quarterbacks out there, and five linemen you can only maybe have one back and one receiver.  That would be a stupid formation.  But three quarterbacks?  Yeah.  That makes sense.

Easily done.

QB Sean White
RB Kerryon Johnson
WR 1 one of the Davises
WR 2 JF3
WR 3 Woody Barrett
TE/HB Jeremy Johnson
Then your 5 OLinmen

Have Sean snap the ball as Woody is in motion left to right
Pich the ball to Woody
Have Woody spin 180 degrees
Have him spin another 270 degrees
Have him spin again for another 180 degrees
Then he throws it to JF3 across the field
JF3 then takes off down the field...
JF3 fakes that he's going to take off...
JF3 thinks about faking that he's...
Delay of game
(Malzahn is seen on the sidelines grimacing because the most complicated play he has ever out thought himself with can't get the snap off, because the guy holding up the cardboard sign ran out of pictures to hold up and he had to resort to pictonary tactics).
