His mother was born in Delaware; therefore, she is a US citizen.  His mother then gave birth to him in Calgary. This means that Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen.  Is that too hard to wrap your head around? Or do you just choose not to acknowledge the Comstitution?
Not American born. I acknowledge the Constitution, I have no idea what the "Comstitution" is or if it's even a thing. Ralphel Edwardo Cruz:
35 years of age? Yes
Lived in the US for 14 years? Yes
Natural United States born citizen? No (born in Calgary, Canada).

Oh fyi, Obama was born in Hawaii...sorry, not sorry.

Hawaii was a territory at the time.  Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona, when it wasn't a state. John McCain was born in Panama.

You see, when Ted Cruz was born, his mothers citizenship passed to him NATURALY.  It doesn't matter where the birth took place.  You must have missed that day in high school history.

Dude.....

Maybe you should look up the definition of Natural Born Citizen.

Per legal consensus and case law:

"natural born" comprises all people born subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, including, generally, those born in the United States, those born to U.S. citizen parents in foreign countries, and those born in other situations meeting the legal requirements for U.S. citizenship "at birth".

I hate to break the news to yous guys but we ARE a socialist country. It can piss you off and you can try to make excuses but the fact remains.

Don't care to hear any rebuttal because it would merely be a different and misinformed point of view, imo.

It comes down to how much money is currently spent toward social programs. I don't know the numbers but I've read them. Look at the exponential increases since SS was created. It's not even really debatable.

I assume that with Obama care, we will eventually spend more per capita than many other socialist countries.

Trying to give Prowler a raft here. I figured the National Enquirer sources and blatant blindness to the Constitution was all an act just because he was bored.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Somewhat yes. In some facets. Although pure socialism would imply a single payer system for everything and govt controlling the means of production for everything. But yes, what we DO see that is Socialism has been implemented by those who think it is the way we should be - Wilson, FDR, LBJ, and now Barry Soteoro. They know they have to implement it in small chunks and steps to achieve their goal which is what you see. First the Fed, then the progressive tax code is made legal, then Food Stamps, then Medicare/caid, then Section 8, then The Great Society, then CRA, then Dodd Frank, now BarryCare. Not to mention the tremendous power grab that has occured with the Auto, Banking and Insurance industries. The next step is to tax everyone that is successful down to the lower class, give to to the lower class to put them right there in the same spot.

People need to open their eyes. The quote RottenBottom posted is happening...and under the guise of Liberalism. Alinsky and Stalin must be so proud.

Its an equation that cant sustain. Just like Margaret Thatcher said. Eventually you run out of other people's money. The incentive for those who do gets diminished. Why should they work?

In their mind there is always other peoples money. The Mrs. and I have actually look at retiring abroad. Our savings/retirement can go so much further, and some of the countries actually seem a little safer as for now they are catering to the murican looking to do that.

Costa Rica and Belize seem attractive.....for now. Until some liberals get a hold of it and get their spot in the govt. Then the same shit will happen. Remember, America started the exact same way. Now weve become what we wanted to get away from.
