I think a small percentage of AU players left the asses in the locker room at half time. Un-fucking-believable.

Just got home from auburn. Holy shit.

And all I've heard from the mutts is how we got lucky, how the ball bounced our way, blah blah fucking blah. Nevermind the fact that at one point in the 2nd half we had 5 penalties in 6 plays. Nevermind the fact that they got a td at the end that they didn't really get. What's the good of replay if they are not going to use it correctly?

USC just got screwed in a very eerily similar call. Knee down at 1 yard line. Football not across goal line. Somehow a TD.

I don't get the replays being missed.  As for the shit that allowed what should have been an assbeating to turn in to a game like that?  I get it, but I don't.  Glad it ended with a W.  Much easier to handle the lesson learned when it didn't cost you a shot at all the marbles.

I am actually elated and pissed at the same time. I cannot believe our D almost basically choked the second half away. Credit Murray for great passes, yes... but Gurley and Murray runs were most disappointing.

Will take it any way I can get it. Glad I didn't bet. It was stressful enough.

- I've finally stopped shaking.  I believe I scarred my 5 month old son tonight.  We all screamed at the top of our lungs, and he freaked the hell out.  But it was good.  It was good for him to experience the elation of an Auburn classic win.

- That was a top five all time historic play in college football.  Flutie, Kordell, "The Band is Running onto the Field," Bluegrass miracle, and now the Miracle at Jordan-Hare.

The implications were enormous.  Auburn was still alive for the SEC West, SEC conference, and BCS championships.  Auburn was 1-6 against their 2nd biggest rival and the only win came on the back of the GOAT.  Auburn had squandered away a victory that would have been describe as a blowout.  And it was 4th down and 18.

I've never seen anything like it.  That was classic.  Generations from now, children will hear about that play and marvel at it in the same sense that we all have marveled at Punt Bama Punt and the Interception Game.

- I wasn't there, but apparently, the eruption in the stadium beat out the 2006 Florida game.  I did my best to add to the noise from my living room.

- Now a bit of the uglies.  How do you give up a lead like that?  How do you allow yourself to go from absolute domination to playing like you have no chance at winning?

Part of me is livid and disappointed.  But the rest of me is reminded that we are still a young and inexperienced group of players who haven't experienced this kind of success before.

No matter how far away we get from it and no matter what kind success we continue to have, 2012 still lingers around.  That's what tonight was.  A bit of 2012.

In 2012, we were a group of misfits who had no chance at competing against Georgia.

But think how different the experience has been for 2013.

We won our tough close games in the beginning of the season.  We learned how to fight and scratch and claw our way to a victory against Washington State and Mississippi State. (Unlike Miss State, Clemson, and LSU in 2012)

We learned that we would no longer struggle against patsy cupcake teams from small conferences when we played Arkansaas State (unlike against LA Monroe and Utah State in previous years)

We learned that we still had a journey ahead of us and that away games are a different beast when we were beaten by LSU.  However, we learned how to believe in ourselves and believe in Malzahn when we weren't just manhandled and we competed.

We learned that we were an improved program when we beat Ole Miss and that no matter what the experts predicted, we had a chance at winning and winning convincingly as long as we executed the game plan.

We learned that the LSU game was behind us when we went into College Station and beat the Aggies.

We learned that many SEC teams were falling behind us and that we could dominate our opponents when we played Arkansas and Tennessee.

And we learned that against good football teams that aren't bad like Arkansas and Tennessee, you can't expect to just blow them out by playing 3 good quarters.  That's what we learned tonight.

- So while it hurt to see us almost lose, I'm appreciative for what we experienced tonight.  Our team got to grow up a little more while maintaining its position in the SEC and the BCS.

- I'm ready for them.  I want the next game badly.  I'm going to have a hard time waiting two weeks, but I know the team needs a good week of rest and then a great practice week leading into what will be one of the most important Iron Bowls in history.

- One more win.  That's the mantra right now.  One more win and we're no longer growing up.  One more win and we're competing for championships.  We're the adults. We're the team to beat.

- It feels good.  Feels really good.

- And this probably should have been one of the first things I mentioned - How about Jake Fucking Holland?  Sure, he still had some fuck ups, but Holland also made some crucial plays.  A big pass breakup. A good tackle to prevent a first down.  Easily his best game of his career.

All the shit at the end has us forgetting the holy shit replay of the first drive. First and goal from the five. Tell me we would not have scored. Then the other shit is moot. We are still up by 2 points.

Replay was shitty, shitty, shitty tonight!

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

He also had the tackle that stopped Aaron Murray at the 3" line (regardless what the replay officials said, his knees and elbows were down before the ball touched the endzone line...it wasn't that hard to see it).

- Auburn also beat the officials as well.

The concrete of Jordan Hare was actually vibrating on that last Georgia series. No shit feel it in your feet and up your legs vibrating from the noise.

I have never in my life had an experience like that. Unforgettable.

For a min there, I thought you were just feeling the after effects of seeing me earlier in the day.

And oh yes folks - how bout USC? We MAY pass Oregon just on the win we had since UGA was ranked but I wouldnt count on it. And we'll at the least pick up the one spot up to 6 just due to Stanford.

we were also badly out reffed. They get a touchdown that the shouldn't have and apparently anne murray can intentionally ground the ball as well and not have it called.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Those dumb fucks just don't want to accept it.

I didn't either, but now it's time to give this team the credit it deserves.

We just beat a Georgia team that was preseason top 5 that lost a few games because they had numerous injuries and they came in to Jordan Hare last night HEALTHY.  That's what they won't admit.  Georgia was healthy.

They had Gurley.  They got a few receivers back.  No one on defense was out.  Their line was in tact.

And we got up on them 37-17.  27-7 at one point.  Then when Georgia got back in it and took the lead, we still had enough dynamics to earn the victory.

Keep em coming, media.  I can't wait to hear the excuses if we take down Bama.

Why certainly. It took the talking heads all of seven years to deconstruct the Malzahn offense to its lowest terms what with all of the talk about pace and motion with some gimmick plays thrown in for good measure.  Boy Nick Saban must be licking his chops knowing all he has to do is copy Todd Grantham's second half adjustments to give that high school coach a beatdown for the ages. It's as simple as 123.

Looking back we only had to convert one more first half drive into six instead of having to settle for a FG or the storyline would be Auburn hangs on by a thread to go 10-1 heading into the Iron Bowl.
