Blue Bell has a plant in downtown Sylacauga, about a mile off of 280 midway between Auburn and Bham - stop by there on a weekday and they sell it in their little gift shop / parlor for fifty cents a cup.

Screw those other yankee bastard libbies

The only ice cream that's any good at all is Cold Stone Creamery Pumpkin.

And I object to the ice cream name.  I find it vulgar.  It was funny as a SNL skit.  It's not funny on the grocery shelf.  Sorry.

Same difference as Charlotte Russe deciding to sell "fuck me pumps" and labeling them as such.

There are lines and this crossed it.

So don't buy it. I don't mind it being a flavor. Bigger fish to fry in the world at the moment.

Rudy G said if you fix the small things, the big ones begin to take care of themselves.

Good philosophy.  People wondered why, with all the problems NYC had, he was focusing on trifiling shit like jaywalking and common courtesy.  Turns out he was right.

Not buying it is -- sorry GH -- a fucked up stupid answer.  How about them having sense enough not to put it on the shelves.

On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk
And Imma keep a bottle of that funk

Cold Stone uses pudding to improve the workability of the ice cream

I don't care if they put horse jizz in it.  Pumpkin ice cream at Cold Stone is the best.

And they're called "stacks" when men wear them.

Actually Rudy didn't create that idea.  It's from a famous (in city management circles) 1982 article by James Q. Wilson called the broken windows theory.  I wrote a paper on it when I was in grad school at Auburn.

[...] a criminological theory of the norm setting and signaling effects of urban disorder and vandalism on additional crime and anti-social behavior. The theory states that monitoring and maintaining urban environments in a well-ordered condition may prevent further vandalism as well as an escalation into more serious crime.

Too bad Wilson died from a stray bullet used in a drive-by shooting while he was repairing an inner city window.
