I am not trying to win you over to a side, but I do hope to appeal to your reasoning. Common ground is the goal, but thus far, it has eluded us on this one. And the gender one. And the economic one.

I am still holding out hope for that one day that I hear/see a view from you that doesn’t trot along the accepted narrative from a very radical leftist point of view. None of that is a shot at you, but I think you’re too smart to just parrot narratives and ideologies that have no reverence for traditional moral values. It seems counterintuitive to agree with EVERYTHING that the party you are affiliated with. I think the same about folks on the right as a disclaimer, but the bullshit from the left is super old. Everything is a racist, sexist, and bigoted injustice somehow in the most free fuckin’ nation in known history. We’ve got it so damn good & your side is wanting to fuck it all up.
