Fairweather?  WTF you talkin bout?  I was listening to the Braves on radio at age 8.  Been to countless games as far back as Turner Field.  Just apathetic because I can’t watch them at all.
It's just that I'm back to square one following the Braves much like you because of viewer restrictions driven by greed in the form of extortion.

Cable tv became an absolute godsend back in the day. Prior to that baseball fans in Alabama could only view a regular season game on a Saturday thanks to NBC.

I only knew the Braves through radio waves throughout the sixties and seventies. And it was not until the summer of '82 while working in Atlanta that I was able to attend a good many games.

The misdirected fairweather jab was in reply to the current season of misfortune and slight struggle along with the sheer volume of trade suggestions I read daily (by the uninitiated) as if the Braves only came into existence (with the new maffs) when they themselves discovered the game.

There... I'm a baseball snob.

Wes, really.  This is as big a joke, and a blight on the American justice system as you can get.  It’s beyond laughable.  There are people who should never be allowed to practice law again.  Start with Merchan.

You want specifics?  As K said, how much time have you got?  To defend this destroys all sense of credibility.

I've got time ...

Hey Fairweather,
Check this out:
Braves in May...

2024 12-14
2023 15-14
2022 13-15
2021 13-12

Know you realize that the Braves are struggling with injury and lack of run production but with a few additions between now and the break they will eventually make a run at the Phillies.
Until then, it's all about winning the next series of which Oakland is next.

Prey
Predator prequel

Slow, unathletic, clumsy girl believes herself to be a great Indian hunter on the Plains in the 1700s.

She is a terrible hunter. Flinches and fails at every opportunity.  But girl power anyway!

Crosses paths with a Predator who is out doing its own hunting. For inexplicable reasons it leaves her alive when it should have killed her time and time again.

Runs into French trappers who hunt the predator.

I don’t care any more. Done with it.  Won’t finish.

The lead girl is insufferable.  This movie insults Arnold, Danny Glover, and even Olivia Munn.

Completely disagree. This was a breath of fresh air for a mediocre franchise (the first one is an action classic and Shane Black's 2018 movie is dumb fun). This is exactly what they should do with the Predator; put it in different time frames. And if you're mad because a girl beat it (gasp! pearls clutched!), watch the end credits. It's not a long-lived victory.

Legal voices much smarter than you or I have stated there are literally hundreds of issues with the trial, the judge, and the way it was handled.
Legal voices smarter than Wes? Are you smoking some of his ganja?

Alvin Bragg, leaving the courtroom…

“Welcome to New York, motherfuckers, where we don't play
And out-of-towners get got like everyday
And a gangsta's a gangsta in every way
Sittin' low on 22's; this what long money do”
Werd!! Is that  too old school?

I didn't even have a clue what the standings were until I checked earlier today.  I've never been so apathetic about a season in my life.  And now that Acuna is out, I'm checking out even more.
