The Danish Army is hosting another 25.2 km road march here in Kosovo. Once again I will be flying the Auburn flag. I had planned on using this march to welcome coach barbee into the AU family, but I've since decided to make this one for Shon Coleman.
What was his high school number or has he been assigned a number at Auburn?? I'm going to try and have a patch made for him. Anyone good with photoshop who would like to incorporate his name and number with the AU logo and a cancer awareness ribbon of some sort or a bible verse or something and i'll take it down to the place here on base and have it made into a patch to wear on my sleeve during the march. I'm not skilled at this at all. I'll have an extra made for whoever designs it if they desire to have one too
It will be my goal to send the patch worn in the march to Shon and his family if I can get a nice little design made up.

Oh. Wait.
If you are willingly joining our little X family, I must retract my earlier statement about fine and upstanding. More like drunken and degenerate. And sick and twisted.
But thank you for your service anyway. And WELCOME!!

I got War Eagle'd by 2 couples getting on a boat this weekend on the St. John's River about 20 miles outside of Orlando. Of course I had my AU gear on.

Here's what I got...but I have never had a patch made before so you need to tell me if something doesnt work. Also I have shrunk these down you need to tell me what format they need to be in then I can upload the originals. 2 choices for those to vote on.

Also if you post your address I will get an X shirt out to you, the only requirement is we want pictures with you in it while in Kosovo.

B, those ROCK. The first one is my favorite. Could you find a space for Kosovo 2010 on there somewhere?
One thought. You might consider also making the AU in white - then the ribbon would really pop. Yellow/gold is a funny color in fabrics/thread (my grandmother is a seamstress) with a lot of variables, and the AU might come out weird looking if it is the same color as the ribbon.
Just sayin'... you know I have to have an opinion, but you also know I think you are AMAZING.

jen "teutul"
i agree the first one is the better of the 2. what about enlarging coleman rather than shon? or keeping both the same size? perhaps stiching his name from left to right arching over the logo?

I's actually an off orange which is the ribbon color for Leukemia. As per usual, my darling, your wish is my command.

I played with that ..the problem is that it covers up to much of the ribbon.

That kicks ASS!!!!!!!!! You are the man, B.
And... any wish? Really? Hmmm... :vn:
-
That looks great. If you can send me a copy of it to my e-mail in a jpeg format or something that I can print to show the people here, it would be great. The designs go out to the local economy which is a bit under developed, so hopefully, they have these colors and can get it right because that is an absolutely AUsome design. The only thing is I would like to represent the entire Auburn family, not just myself in Kosovo, would it be possible to replace Kosovo 2010 with a bible verse of some kind (maybe Psalm 91 or James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.) or War Eagle. I plan to wear it on my right sleeve which is designated for the wear of the combat patch. This is one fight that the Auburn family isn't going to allow for a loss.
gr33n3day at hotmail dot com and i'll e-mail you back my address. I'll find a good spot to pose with the shirt..it might have to be of me holding it as we are required to be in uniform at all times since they consider this a combat zone, but I'll see what I can come up with.
-
Very cool WE044!

We Texas folks would rather have your Arky ass in Kosovo too. ;)
Fuck Texas.
As you get older and wiser, I have faith that you will come around to my view of things. I have been exposed for many more years than you.
When the koolaid buzz wears off, watch out.
You're just a bammer to them, Auburn who? Oh, that place where Tech's coach used to coach?
You're merely a pawn of their game.
More arrogant, ignorant, assholish folks per square mile than any other state in the union. Even in the counties with a low population density.
Have I mentioned Fuck Texas?

Just recieved a facebook message from Shon Coleman's mom which says, "We are so touched that you would do this in honor of Shon and other kids facing the same battle. I can't put it into words just how special this act really is."
I will be sending a couple of the patches to shon and his family. I turned them into to the design place yesterday. They go out into the local economy which isnt that greatly developed...I really hope they get it right.
-
That is great!
-
Awesome WE44 keep us updated.
-
before the bashing...I have spoken with and gotten approval from the family to set this up. Thanks for your concern, however. If you haven't already, lets all come together and donate to help Shon and others in their fight against cancer. Here is a fund I started for my road march I will be making in Kosovo on May 9th. Please click the link and donate an amount for each km that I march. I am marching 25 km, so if you want to donate 1.00/km then your donation would be 25.00 or 10.00/km it would be 250.00 donation --- no donation is too small. Support me as I support Shon and other children in their fight against cancer. War Eagle.
From my facebook:
"Josiah, absolutely. I think that setting up a fund with St. Jude would be terrific. They're making great strides in the research of childhood cancer. I look forward to seeing the patches. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. It means so much. Please let me know if you need anything else.
Sincerely,
De Keishia (shon's mom)"
I will be wearing Godfather's design as a patch on the sleeve designated for the wear of the combat action patch. This is war my friends and we are not going to lose. War Eagle!!!

The patches are in. I have 6 of them. Godfather, if you have an address and you would like one please let me know at gr33n3day at hotmail dot com I will be sending others to Shon and his family and possibly keeping one for myself to put in with the frame that i plan on framing this flag in when I get home.

The patches turned out great. This looks to be an awesome thing you are doing. Good job sir...

No kidding. And now your artwork is the image of Ben Tate. NICE DUDE! Good work GF!

I am going to do a shirt with the same design. We will be selling it in the X-store with a $10 markup. All proceeds to go to the foundation WE44 and Shon's folks decide. I will let everyone know when it is up.
-
Ben Tate is using the design as his facebook profile picture. Cool.
-
This has taken off so much faster than I ever expected it to. I have 2 people here who want to do the march with me. I am going to let them wear a patch and send them to Shon's family. The fund has as of last check 610.00 in just 13 hrs of availability. I cannot believe the support. Ben Tate, Quentin Groves, AUNation.net, rivals, even Oklahoma State and Texas A&M fans. Pass this link around to everyone. It's not just for Auburn people, this is to make a difference in children of all ages, genders, sizes, fan bases. I am so excited about the potential this cause can be for St Judes and it's cancer research programs. The goal was set at 10,000.00 thinking that was on the high side. Over 30 days until the march and almost 1000.00 dollars on the first day. I expect it will slow down with time but there's no reason to expect that I cant reach that 10,000 dollar goal and more. Thanks for the support. Spread the link to your friends, coworkers, family, etc. WAR EAGLE!!!

I just spread the link through the intrawebs via my facebook, email, etc... Hope it helps!
-
my girlfriend e-mailed it to a few friends at her office and one e-mailed it out to the entire company....to include the man listed #371 on the Forbes 500 list. This could get interesting....the entire company just about is Oklahoma State alums.

2225.00 raised on the first day of the fund being open. incredible. continue to pass the link around, there's still over 30 days until the road march! War Eagle!!
-
Godfather, your design has been an integral part in this effort --- thank you so much for taking the time to make it. I have 5 other people who want to do the march alongside me wearing a patch, so the patch I send you will also have been worn during the march.

Point as many links to this site, the shirt in this site's store, etc. as you possibly can.
Thank you.

link and thanks added to the funds page...shouldve added that from the get-go but had no idea that it would blow up like that and the excitement i had from it all put that thought on the backburner. I want Godfather to know how thankful I am for such a great design. Not sure that I would have gotten a better one anywhere else. Also thanks to bottomfeeder for pointing me this direction after making the same post on a couple other message boards.
I believe my girlfriend ordered at least one or two shirts. Anymore coming off the "racks"?
-
Was also thinking maybe someone could make some flyers or something with the web address to donate and the design on it as well as a link to this site to pass out around town A-Day weekend??
-
You are doing an awesome thing WE44. I posted it up on our front site:
http://www.tigersx.com/football/help-support-shon-coleman/ (http://www.tigersx.com/football/help-support-shon-coleman/)
I also passed the link to tigerland and the auburner. Anyone else can use that link above to pass it around.
-
I have passed along the link to Sunny 105.7, a radio station based in Gulf Shores, and Cat Country 98.7 in Pensacola. I know both stations promotions directors, and Sunny broadcasts AU games during the season. No idea if it will make it on air or not, so who knows.

Sherreeeee don't like it...

Hey! I'm new to here so I could be doing this all wrong! Those shirts look AWESOME! Can I make a little suggestion? I think they would look even more awesome if we put the (kick ass) logo on the back and as a small left chest have "Auburn means Family". Just a suggestion though. If you guys do like that then we could use a local tshirt printing place to print them off(i.e Victory Designs in Opelika). Most local places can print shirts for $5-7 and we can sell them for $10. The profit can all go to St. Judes.
Lemme know what you guys think and remember I'm a newbie, don't pick on me too much!

i just noticed prowler...you have "The Hit" gif. very nice. i grew up a Texas A&M fan and lived about 1/2 mile from Kyle Field. Quentin Coryatt laid that mutha fooka out cold. Broke the receiver's jaw.
-
Would it be possible to make a hat out of the patch design?
-
i support shirt idea with small writing on front and design on the back....gives me an excuse when a girl catches me checkin out her breasts..."uh...i was just tryin to read your shirt"

I prefer the "I'm looking at your tits" approach when I am noticed but different strokes I guess.

SHON COLEMAN IS CANCER FREE AFTER 15 DAYS OF TREATMENT!!!!!!! The fight, however, is still not over. He must continue his treatment plan and hopefully the prognosis continues to be the same. This is a huge turning point in Shon's battle though and we need to ride this momentum to more success in not just his treatment, but the children in the rooms next to him and in hospital beds around the country and globe. Please be aggressive in posting this mission out to whoever you can. News media, social networks, families, complete strangers. Whatever it takes to get the word out. WAR EAGLE!

Best I could do was a button. Which are also now available in the store for $7.00 ...$2.10 will go to the foundation.

Honey, some questions are better left unanswered. This is one instance where you should welcome the Roofie-laced rum and coke with open arms.

And when she says coke, she's means the powder form. The liquid shit isn't going to cut it around here, unless it's entering through a random piece of flesh in your vaginal area via a very large needle.

Wait a damn minute. This thing went for 7 pages without any comments off topic. That type of a concentrated effort deserves rewards. Shon Coleman should probably be the proudest guy on the planet right now.

No. Two weekends in a row would be too much. Plus, Carl's are better than any I have ever had.

The Barnett Shale party is this weekend. I agree, the crawfish suck, but the party is fun as hell. We get a hotel room down in the stock yards and make a night of it.
I am looking at coming to Houston to possibly watch the Cubs play this year. You think you could score those home plate tickets? If so, me and the woman friend may come a calling...

if you're a cubs fan you better keep your ass out of minute maid park! :fu:

There were some guys form B'ham right outside JHS by Parker that had a big table full of crawdaddies. They tried to get my son to try one, he balked. They are great with beer. Unfortunately for him, no beer yet.

I am going to excuse this as you being subject to a news delay in the wilds of Kosovo. In case you have not noticed, the Astros suck major giant donkey balls. There are Little League teams that could beat the Suckasstros right now. Winning one series at Wrigley by the skin of their collective nutsack and one of Matsui's anal fissures does not a Cub Killer team make.
I am telling you this as one Suckasstro fan to another: Better save the smacktalk until you won't have to serve it up with some fava beans and a nice Kee-anti.

I got his seats for the St. Louis series in July - I wanted to see Pujols play so I can tell my kids about it some day.
Besides, I fucking hate the Cubs. I'd go to the game, but only to get drunk and heckle. Both teams.
However, you and the current punch are welcome in Houston anytime. :)

'stros could go 0-162 and i'd still want the cubs fans to stay out of minute maid. their curses are probably the reason the NL Central sucks so bad collectively.

I worked until 7:30 tonight dealing with a shitstorm not of my own making.

How are t-shirt sales coming along?? The fund is at 6600.00 continue spreading it around we are getting much closer to the 10,000.00 goal.
Godfather- my tigersx tee got to my girlfriend this week and im pretty sure she sent it out today or yesterday. She showed it to me on skype and i'll be brainstorming a good way to display it here in Kosovo.
-
Shirt sales are at $210. When are you doing the march? That money has not been added to your total.
-
Road March is May 9th, so we're well on our way to achieving the 10,000.00 goal.

If you can get a hold of him, you'll want to talk to the master, AUtiger96. He posts (very rarely) over here, but he's you're guy for video.
If not, you may have to settle for AuburnChopper2.0. :poke: He can put together a pretty good video himself.

anyone got more ideas on how to get the word out?? we stalled there for a bit. Gene Chizik's e-mail netted another 1,000.00 and im hoping to have one from Shon's mom tonight to post.....My brain is stumped...I know there are more avenues of approach though.

What about sending the story/link/etc to some legit (read: non-internet exclusive) media? Shon's hometown paper, the B'ham/Mobile news, shit...try ESPN's college writers (Maisel, et al).
-
Well - at least it shows he wrote it personally (a real human) and not some proofreading, speech writing PR person.
Blah.....bunch of "Coach Speak", right Kaos?
I, on the other hand, thought it was fuckin' cool...or would that be coll?
-

This would be my suggestion. I don't actually have the good movie making software anymore. I'm not sure I could do it justice without having some good footage sent to me to tear up and play with.
-
What about sending the story/link/etc to some legit (read: non-internet exclusive) media? Shon's hometown paper, the B'ham/Mobile news, poop...try ESPN's college writers (Maisel, et al).
Definitely do this. I've written those guys emails through the years about various articles they've written, and about half the time they write back. If you write 4 or 5 of them, they would help out I'm sure. Also, try Stewart Mandel, the SI college football writer. He has a mailbag that's pretty active and read weekly. He may be up to giving some pub as well.
I really think a story about this kind of support for a kid that hasn't even suited up for the team is a good story any of them would like to write about (in the off season too).
-
Blah.....bunch of "Coach Speak", right Kaos?
I, on the other hand, thought it was phukin' cool...or would that be coll?
Coaching and opinions of Chizik football related aside - this was a great gesture by one human being for another. If Kaos disagrees with that - then well, him and I will just have to have differing opinions on this one. I thought it was very cool.
-
Just saw where WE044 posted on Scout that Bruce Feldman of ESPN is going to do a blog spot, or something more about the road march.
Hopefully he'll come on here and let us in on the good news.
The fund is up to over 8700.00 as of today...
-
chopper is right. here i am to spread that news to you guys. also, someone was wearing their t-shirt at Tiger Prowl and there is a thread solely dedicated to it on the bunker now.
i'm not sure what kind of story he wants to do but he sent me a message letting me know that he would be happy to help spread the word as well as a few questions to add to the story. it's because of you guys over here that this got it's legs. thank y'all so much. I also got a message from Shon's mother today and she is going to be e-mailing me a statement from the family. I told her to send Bruce a message on facebook as well so maybe we can get something big rolling.
hopefully, since the tigersx.com link is on the fund tribute, the site picks up some extra traffic

It's all you buddy, were just here to help. Let me know if you need anything, I have pretty much exhausted all my contacts.
-
I contacted, Bruce Feldman, Ivan Maisel, and Chris Low. I also sent the guy from Sports Illustrated a message through his mailbag.
We're under 1000.00 to our overall goal and I might bump the goal up if we get there sometime today to 15,000.00 if this story busts open.

Josiah Greene's fight for Shon Coleman

I'm midway through my swing through the Pacific Northwest schools in the Pac-10 and had planned on writing today about the Washington Huskies (I saw them two days ago). But another story came up that I'd really like to discuss.
I received an interesting note into my inbox Tuesday from an Auburn student deployed overseas with his Army Reserve unit on a peacekeeping mission to Kosovo. It's always great to hear from our troops. Josiah Greene's letter was especially intriguing. Here it is:
"I am currently stationed on Camp Bondsteel," the note said. "I will be making a 25 km road march hosted by the Danish Army called the Dancon. About a month ago when the initial news of Auburn signee, Shon Coleman, having cancer came out, I started a tribute fund with St. Jude with his mother's permission. In a matter of 3 weeks time I have raised about $7,600.00 in honor of Shon for research at St. Jude. I have been trying to spread the word around and set a goal of $10,000.00 for the fund. This has been a rather grassroots effort of me promoting to family, friends, auburn message boards, etc. I thought maybe with some bigger exposure to not just SEC rival fans but fans of college football around the nation we could make a huge, huge impact for children fighting against this terrible disease. This fund bears Shon Coleman's name, but the fund reaches far beyond that and I would really love to get any and everyone that I can involved."
This is obviously a moving gesture. Coleman, as you may recall, is the blue-chip offensive tackle recruit whom many analysts said was the top prospect in Mississippi in the 2010 class. Late last month, Tigers coach Gene Chizik disclosed that the 6-foot-7, 285-pound Coleman was dealing with a "medical issue," which his mom explained was cancer.
I traded e-mails with Josiah, a 25-year-old who has been in the military for six years, to find out about how the fund came about.
"I have a passion for being a positive influence in the lives of young people and hope to channel that into becoming a teacher someday," says Greene, an animal science major. "The older and more experience I can take with me, however, will allow me to make a bigger and better difference for kids in the future."
"I have been in Kosovo for six months. This will be the fourth Road march that I have flown the Auburn flag in since being in country. All three being in honor of something to do with Auburn, the first one was in honor of the Iron Bowl so I called it the Beat Bama Dancon since it took place the week of the Iron Bowl. Another was in memory of the Bataan Death March from WWII, so I marched in honor of Lt. Oel Johnson c/o '34. He was an Auburn alum and survivor of those horrific events. When news of Shon's diagnosis came out, it only made sense to give him some encouragement and support by flying the flag for him. I have shared the past marches with the Auburn family back home and wanted to do something to get them involved, so I researched ways to raise money and support for cancer research which brought me to the St. Jude Tribute site."
"I knew through Caringbridge and various Auburn message boards that Shon's mother was active on Facebook, so i took the time to look her up and make sure it would be okay to do this in honor of Shon. She approved about a day later, so I set it up so that all donations received would put an e-mail in her inbox letting her know about it. My parents told me that cards have been showing up at the house from St. Jude for this same purpose so I am having them collect those to give to Shon and his family upon my return home."
To say Shon's mother was touched would be an understatement. "When I originally was contacted by Josiah several weeks ago regarding his plan to honor Shon I was really moved," says DeKeisha Tunstall, Shon's mother. "His original e-mail actually brought tears to my eyes."
Greene said because he wasn't sure how the fund would be viewed in regard to NCAA regulations he tried to keep things are "grassroots" as possible, so he circulated it via message boards, Facebook pages and Twitter. "I did, however, receive an e-mail back from Coach [Gene] Chizik thanking me for rallying people in support of not just Shon but other kids," Greene said. "To me, that e-mail was meant for not me, but everyone coming together to show love and support, so I posted that publicly to various message boards."
"Once I posted it to the Auburn family, it went pretty viral. There have been donations and support from Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Kentucky, and people who have no affiliation to any school or even care for sports. I've really been amazed at how it took off. There was almost $2,000.00 in the first 12 hours of existence. I have to commend the folks back home for all the help and support. A lot of former Auburn football players had it on their Facebook pages, Ben Tate, Jerraud Powers, Quentin Groves, Marcus McNeil. All I did was copy and paste the link. Folks back home made it successful."
Says Tunstall: "Josiah is a very special young man, and for him to do this is truly amazing. Neither he nor any of the St. Jude donors have ever met my son or family, but they care enough to donate to ensure that Shon and other St. Jude patients continue to receive the best care available. That just means so much. Every donor is literally saving a child's life.
"Since Shon's diagnosis several weeks ago there has been such a huge outpouring of love and support from across the country, and that support is what helps us face this devastating disease head-on every day. It is really amazing that everyone is lending a hand. St. Jude has received donations from our Auburn family, and other schools who would normally be fierce football rivals to AU. In this situation rivalries have been set aside to meet a common goal. It's a beautiful thing, and we are so grateful."
For updates on how Shon is doing, you can go to this journal his mom is keeping online at the CaringBridge site.

Now that I have money to spare, let me know again what I need to do. I want to buy a T-shirt.

I guess this is an appropriate place to share this.
I got word today that my nephew that has ALL may have relapsed. He has been in the maintenance phase for nearly a year now, on monthly chemo, but at his check-up today, when they did the spinal tap, they found something wrong. They will be doing a bone marrow draw this afternoon to see what is going on. This is obviously not good news.
He is four years old.
I am asking for prayers.
-
so sorry to hear that TW...you better believe I am going to work day and night to get as much support as possible for him over the next week or so.
Prayers definitely being sent up.

Reservist helps raise money for stricken athlete
By JOHN ZENOR, AP Sports Writer 26 minutes ago
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP)—Josiah Greene found someone in the United States to help while serving on a peacekeeping mission in Kosovo—cancer-stricken high school football star Shon Coleman.
The 25-year-old Army reservist was moved enough by Coleman’s diagnosis in March with acute lymphoblastic leukemia to start a fund in the Auburn-bound offensive lineman’s honor. Greene, also an Auburn student, has raised more than $12,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“I kept posting to message boards, Facebook, and Twitter while friends back home did the same,” Greene, an animal sciences major, said in an e-mail from Kosovo on Wednesday. “Pretty soon I was getting support from schools like Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and even Alabama. This had become bigger than one person and one school, so I started rallying folks from all over the nation.”
Greene wears a patch honoring Coleman on his uniform—with an orange ribbon dangling from the Auburn logo, surrounded by Coleman’s name, his No. 77 and the image of a lineman in his stance. He carries an Auburn flag on marches, while others bear banners honoring their various nations.
Greene’s request gained momentum when four former Auburn players currently in the NFL—Ben Tate, Jerraud Powers, Quentin Groves and Marcus McNeill— posted links to the tribute fund on their Facebook pages. ESPN.com also did a story on Greene and his efforts.
Coleman’s mother, De Keisha Tunstall, appreciates everything is Greene is doing.
In an April 28 e-mail to Greene that is posted on the fund’s Web site, she calls him “a very special young man” who “will always be family.”
Tunstall did not respond to e-mails or Facebook messages from The Associated Press seeking comments. She posted on her CaringBridge page on April 9 that Coleman was cancer-free about two weeks after entering St. Jude.
On Tuesday, she posted that her son’s treatment was going well and that he would soon be out of Phase 1, the induction phase, of his treatment.
“Induction has been described as the most difficult part of the treatment process,” Tunstall wrote, “and Shon went through it like the warrior he is.”
She said he has received two blood transfusions recently and must wear a mask outside the house because of a weakened immune system.
The 6-foot-7 Coleman, who played for Olive Branch High School in Mississippi, was one of the top signees in an Auburn recruiting class ranked among the Top 5 nationally.
He was widely regarded as Mississippi’s top prospect, and Rivals.com rated him the nation’s third-best offensive tackle.
That’s not why Greene became so interested in Coleman, though. Or why he still follows his battle closely.
“Shon is a very special and talented guy,” the reservist said. “I want to thank him for his courage and his will to stand up against a disease that shows no mercy or discrimination on who it will effect. I want to thank his mother for allowing me to get his story out to the nation and giving me the opportunity to help make a difference for not only his family … but children and families who are battling through the same battle as I type this message.”
Greene started raising money through the St. Jude Tribute fund. He said some $2,500 poured in over the first 12 hours.
Greene said he plans to continue the fund until Coleman is done with treatment, and possibly throughout the player’s time at Auburn.
“It really goes to show the hearts of people and that it doesn’t matter where you’re from or what logo is on your T-shirt and hat—compassion is still out there in this world, and people will rise to the occasion when presented with an opportunity to show it,” Greene said. “This fund wasn’t made successful by me, but the good hearts of the people back home. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of it.
“I pray for Shon and his family as well as others going through the same situation on a daily basis. I hope this fund has made just of positive of an impact on them as it has on me.”

I just got word that the bone marrow draw was negative - he has not relapsed. Even so, something showed up in his spinal fluid, so we are not totally out of the woods yet. But no relapse is a wonderful thing...

this fight might have gotten quite a bit more personal today. My girlfriend's little sister went to the doctor and they some concerns over what might be a cyst on her ovary but what could possibly be ovarian cancer. She had an ultrasound done today, and I was hoping that would provide the all clear, however, they are seeking a second opinion. Pray that we get some good news tomorrow. Thanks y'all.
TW, how is your nephew(i believe)??

I will add her to the list.
Caleb had to go back to the hospital today. He has not relapsed, but they cannot figure out why his red blood count is so low. He got two transfusions last week when all hell broke loose, and he may have had another today - have not heard from his mom for an update yet tonight. Thanks for asking, J.

Bruce Feldman is talking with an ESPN producer about doing a story on ESPN....this is hopefully going to be a good chance for the Auburn Family to show what they're all about on a national level.

hey y'all, sorry for bombarding the board with posts about this daily, but I am really commited to continue making a difference for children across the country --- and my resources are limited here.
Anyways, Bruce Feldman (ESPN.com) has contacted me about the possibility of a story running about the Shon Coleman Tribute Fund on an ESPN show in the future. This is the Auburn Family's opportunity to really show the country what Auburn really is all about. My resources are pretty limited here, so I am asking communities of the Auburn family (such as TigersX) to come together and utilize all their resources for getting the word out about this fund. Let's make this a can't miss opportunity for ESPN to pick up and report on what it truly means to be a part of the Auburn Family. That we truly care about the well-being of our school, individual students/athletes, family, tradition and the desire to help people out in this world who need it the most.
I would ask that if you can think of ways to spread this link around and get the word out to stand behind Shon, his family, and all the amazing things that St. Jude does in the lives of children from all across our great country.

This isn't my effort, but a family effort. We need everyone to get involved. If they aren't a part of the TigersX community -- make sure they have an opportunity to pledge their support. Together we can make an unbelievable difference in the lives of others.

Post all you can. We appreciate the updates. This is a great thing! I've donated directly to the SJ site, and will buy a T-shirt shortly.
Shared the link multiple times on FB. Keep us posted!

WE44 just so you know as of right now we collected $330.00 from the shirts. I was hoping to get to a $1000, I will continue to leave them up. The money has been donated to the fund so as of right now you are at +/- $14,730. Good job to everyone that bought a shirt.
War Eagle!
