War Damn Eagle / What A World
« Last post by Snaggletiger on Today at 11:15:53 AM »
What an idiotic world we live in.  The Feels Police are everywhere, ready to pounce, rush to judgment, and cancel any alleged offenders.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker, Harrison Butker, gave the Commencement speech at Benedictine College this week. He caused the Feels to get their Underoos in a bunch when, as part of his speech, he said that while many of the ladies are looking forward to starting their careers, most are probably more excited about starting a family and the children they will bring into the world. Of course, the Feels Police singled out his comment and have branded him as sexist, with many calling for the NFL to take action against him. AKA cancel him!

Given the uproar, I went back and listened to a good bit of his speech.  Talk about taking something out of context. The man was stressing that we need to focus more on strengthening families.  That men need to embrace masculinity and be strong leaders.  That there needs to be a mother and a father in the home raising their children. But of course, in true Feels fashion, the only thing they heard was, a woman’s place is in the home, and she needs to keep her ass in the kitchen.

In typical, hypocritical NFL fashion as well, their only response has been, “Those aren’t the views of the NFL, and we’re all about diversity, equity and inclusion.” WTF ever!  You’re all about your players driving 100 plus m.p.h. and killing innocent people.  You’re all about your players smacking women around. Do you know how many of your players have been arrested on domestic violence, DUI, reckless driving and gun charges in the last year alone?  How about you take your comments on Butker and shove them up your collective asses.

BTW, all 485 graduates, including the women, gave him a standing ovation.

I’m not a huge fan of John Stanford’s work but his Prey series featuring the character Lucas Davenport are typically solid enough to be an entertaining read.

His latest effort has Davenport and associates tracking a group determined to set off a “Thanos-like” event in order to save planet earth.

Virologist who subscribes to the Gaia theory weaponizes a virus with a 50% plus mortality rate, recruits other climate change wackos and concocts a plan to spread it via select international airports. Federal Marshall Davenport  and his select crew race against time to prevent their efforts.

A lot about this book concerns me.  What Davenport attempts to stop is exactly what mass murderers like Fauci, sponsored by the globalist cabal, wants. It’s what Gates wants. Abortion. Pandemic. Depopulate Gaia.  It’s their fantasy.

There is no Davenport.  Our government officials - as currently placed - would be complicit.

Time is running out for the sane among us (and there are some of you I’m specifically NOT referring to) to push back against the insanity spiraling around us.

This book cements my fears. I know it wasn’t Sanford’s intent.  He’s an anti-Trump lib. But the scenario he describes is more possible than I want to consider.
I haven't read Sanford but I think his version of how it would go down or any combination of literature and cinema are quite possibly on the table for the one world cabal.
We are and eventually become what we consume. There is a foretelling and decades of research and data on how to combat known contagions, viral strains and diseases, enough to safeguard the population in a worldwide event but I don't think political leanings have much bearing for those herding the masses.

Conservatives and liberals both share in the complicity by playing the blame game and or looking the other way at it presently suits them. Ignorance is bliss.

Trump doesn't check all the boxes for me but there's no fucking way I would welcome more of the same with this abomination or any rendition like it for as long as I live. Love of country might not be enough but it's an ideal that was ingrained in me from birth.
It will have to do for now.

Ain't a lot going on in the sports world, at least not much that we all care about.  But one item of note:  The World's #1 golfer, Scottie Scheffler, was cuffed and stuffed this morning while on his way to the course for the second round of the PGA Championship.

The PGA is one of the four Majors, so there's a ton more eyes on the happenings.  What we know to this point is, there was a traffic fatality somewhere near the course entrance.  Have no idea how far away, but it apparently was a pedestrian struck by a tour bus.  Anyway, cops were all around directing traffic etc.  Scheffler drives up in an SUV, clearly marked to signify he was a PGA golfer.  Reports are that a policeman shouted at him to stop, and when he didn't, a cop "attached himself to the vehicle".  Eye witness report said Scheffler drove another 10 yards before stopping. The cop pulls him from the car and immediately cuffs him, puts him in the back of a cruiser. He goes to jail, changes into a pumpkin suit and gets his mug shot taken.  Charged with, among other things, assault on a police officer.

From what I've heard, other golfers had already been waved through ahead of Scheffler, and that the traffic fatality had occurred some time earlier.  Why he was stopped, I have no idea.

I'm a back the blue kind of guy.  And I'm not advocating for any special treatment of anyone, much less Scottie Scheffler.  But this sounds over the top to me.  Attaching yourself to the car?  Really?  Use a little common sense here.  Just get the tag number and write the man a ticket if he did wrong.

Mofo, don’t be coming in here with this koonga boonga.

Is it ok to use koonga boonga in this context?

Please do not ban me, Wes. This place is my life.
Pleading for mercy is a nice touch and appeal's to Wes' forgiving nature. You'll probably get off light and will soon be able to resume your normal everyday life here.
