I copy/pasta'd this piece from Fox News. Honestly, sometimes, it's just best to keep your dumbass pie hole zipped up.  He's dogging an Alabama education, by using a made up word, "stigmatism", and "it ain't" and "it ain't".  Oh, and Mr. Tippytoes, I guess there ain't no I in team, right? I sure wouldn't want to be known as a team player who won national championships.

The No. 2 overall player in the recruiting class of 2019, Kayvon Thibodeaux had his pick of nearly every school to play college football.

Thibodeaux fielded offers from the likes of Alabama, Florida State and Florida, before committing to Oregon. Thibodeaux sat down with FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt Wednesday and revealed why he didn’t go to Alabama.

"Do you know the stigmatism of Alabama education? It ain’t the West Coast," Thibodeaux said. "It ain’t Harvard."

Thibodeaux meant to say "stigma", not "stigmatism" or "astigmatism" (a common imperfection in the eye’s curvature).

The top player in the 2022 NFL Draft continued, saying head coach Nick Saban’s recruiting pitch didn’t mesh with him. The pitch, according to Thibodeaux, was that players want to play when they think they’re ready, not when Saban thinks they’re ready.

To this date, every single one of Saban’s recruiting classes at Alabama has won a National Championship. Thibodeaux said that while that’s important, he had his sights on the bigger picture.

"You know what I sat back and thought about? I sat back and said what world do I want to be a part of? I said if I go to Alabama, I’m going to win national championships, literally," Thibodeaux said. "But do I want to be a guy who’s known as a national championship winner or do I want to be a guy who’s known for being a part of the greatest organization in the world?"

In his mind, that organization is Nike, which has a stronghold on Oregon. Nike owner Phil Knight is an Oregon alumnus and donates millions each year to the university. The worldwide brand was just too much for Thibodeaux to turn down, as it is for many athletes.

"What people don’t realize is that football is an American sport," Thibodeaux said. "So, no matter how great Alabama is, you only play football in America, Canada and a couple other places. But a brand like Nike, I mean, for me it was like what brand associations do I want to be tied to?"

While Thibodeaux never reached the mountain top in Eugene, he did star on the Ducks’ defense for three seasons. Thibodeaux recorded 19 sacks and 35.5 tackles for loss in 30 games for the Ducks. He was a two-time First-Team All-Pro in the Pac 12 (2020-21) and an unanimous All-American (2021).

Thinking today about where we are versus where we were.

Tony Barbee was in Auburn four years.  Only once a team he coached win more games in a season than Auburn's already won so far this year.

Jeff Lebo was in Auburn six years.  Only twice did his teams win more than 14 games in a season.

Barbee's Auburn teams won a total of 49 games. Lebo's Auburn teams won a total of 96 games.  Combined, that's 145.  Average 14.5 per year.  Between the two of them, a total of four seasons with more than 14 wins, only one season with more than 20.

That's a whole decade of suck.

In seven years, Pearl's teams won 139 games.  Only two seasons out of eight (including this one) where his teams won less than 14 games.  Six seasons over 14.

AU has been ranked in the final AP poll eight times in history (since 19-fucking-05). Of those eight, three were under Pearl.  *There is a travesty there, finishing 14th in the season AU made the Final Fucking Four.*

Cliff Ellis and Sonny Smith (considered AU's two best coaches of the modern era) had a combined total of five 20-win seasons over the course of 21 years.  Pearl already has three and an almost certain fourth this season.

GF is right.  What we're seeing now is unprecedented.  AU should give Bruce Pearl anything and everything he wants.  Forever.  If at some point in the near future we aren't playing in The Pearl with his statue out front and a 90-foot tall painting of him with a halo around his head hanging from the rafters.... well.... we deserve what we get.

He speaks for all of us

This comes directly from the Kaos Book of Whoa.  A lady comes to us after being hit and knocked off the road by a guy driving an Enterprise Rent A Car.  We just had an employee leave us, so we’re short-handed. The driver of the other car never responded to us, so I’m trying to track down a claim with Enterprise.  I start with the local office.

Sir, you’ll have to call this number right here.  Gives me the number

Thank you, dials number.

Theenk you forda cohlling, Eentedaprise. Keen I heps you?

I explain that I’m trying to track down a claim for this accident.

Oh you mest cohl dee cleems depadament.  Let me geeve you the numada.

It takes 3 times repeating to understand the correct number. Dials number.

( in Spanish accent)  Emergency road service.  Where are you broken down?

Holy shit.  I’m not broken down.  I’m an attorney trying to track down a claim on a wreck.

This is the emergency road side service.  You’ll have to call this number.

3 more times to understand the correct number.  I dial it.

Damage department, can I help you?

I have no idea what this accent was.  Suffice it to say, everything had to be repeated.  I explain again the reason for my call.

Oh no, you will have to call this number.  They can help you.

Good morning.  Law enforcement division.

Law enforcement?  WTF?  Yes, I’m an attorney for….

Attorney?  You’re not in law enforcement?

No, I’m just trying to track down a claim for a wreck involving an Enterprise Rent A Car. I’ve explained my situation 3 or 4 times already and they sent me to you.

Let me give you this number to report a claim.

I call the number and the lady says I’ll have to report the claim via this email address….

No shit, I was given 6 different numbers and an email address to simply report, or try to find a claim. The local office couldn’t handle that task.  Neither could the next person, or the next person, or the next person or the next….And it wasn’t until the last person, who gave me the email, that I talked to somebody who didn’t have a foreign, virtually unintelligible accent.  The email has been sent.  I can’t wait to see the response, or lack thereof.

I'd be a little more stoked about next year if our O-line returns in tact, sans Brodaliciousness Hamm.  No, we weren't very good.  Haven't been for 3 years+ running.  But, as has been well documented, that room has suffered serious neglect.  As average, at best, as these guys have been, there's exactly squat behind them.  I'm hoping another year in Jeff Pitman's program will help these guys take it up a notch while Harsin & Co. try and get some quality linemen signed.

Agree....look at our line in 2011/12 and then 13/14. Basically the same guys. Once they got in a new staffs system a few years, bulbs started turning on for some. Granted, those guys were a lot more talented than the ones we have now but buying in and developing talent goes a long way. And that was a group of guys that went from Jeff Grimes to JB - which would look like a negative on paper but sometimes its just the culture change that does it, which was an obvious improvement from 12 to 13.
