Kid doesn't fit and Slater definitely doesn't. I liked the original series so much even with the poor finale. And New Blood was sort of a homage but I'm done with it.

It was a fun watch particularly with Goggins' character driving it along. Looking forward to the second season.

Suspect Arrested
https://apnews.com/article/auburn-brian-battie-shooting-sarasota-arrest-60d922173e663911309596b2a120c59f

Early reports said the three started talking and then guns were pulled, everyone fired, the Batties went down, dude went running. Terrible. Unnecessary. Tragic. And all too common.
The pretrial hearing has the defense pleading self defense, judge doesn't set any bail as accused has a number of past felonies. Have heard no update on Brian's health since Friday the 24th.

Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum / Miles Kelly is the Final Piece

Shooting Guard from Ga. Tech where he was ACC Honorable Mention.
6-6 180, built much like
Baker-Mazara.

Averaged 32 mpg and was Tech's leading scorer for the 2023 season. Shooting percentage took a dip from 2022 and curiously so did his FT%. That being said, he showed marked improvement in both rebounding and assists per game.

I seriously doubt Kelly can count on the playing time afforded him in Atlanta unless he can outgun Denver and defend on a par level while limiting turnovers.

I'm thinking we improved overall as a veteran squad. CBP doesn't put much emphasis on 1's, 2's or 3's and I would give our 3 offseason acquisitions a solid C, borderline C+ maybe.

My grandparents survived both Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

They were in Alabama so that probably played a part.
Is this where the affinity for naked Asian chicks started?

I heard that he wear a condom when he masterbates.
He wore two N95’s during Covid but they only coverd his mouth. He was one of those dumb fucks who left their honker outside of the mask.

Hooper

It’s been a long time since I watched this movie. Reynolds was at his wise-cracking, gum snapping, self aware best. Sally Field was at the top of her redneck hotness.

It wasn’t a movie that made some kind of social statement.  It didn’t expose some deeper truth.

Burt and his friends just had fun romping through scene after scene.

This movie came out after he’d passed on (or been passed over for) roles in Godfather, James Bond, Star Wars, and Cuckoo’s Nest (he’d famously pass on Pretty Woman) later.

No, it wasn’t a cinematic masterpiece. But I got the impression Reynolds was having fun every moment he was on the screen.  Maybe that’s what matters.  He made it enjoyable to watch.

I think he could have been one of the greatest actors of all time. He had that capacity.  He chose instead to enjoy himself and laugh that ridiculous laugh all the way to the bank.

I like this one more than Bandit.

EDIT TO ADD: I forgot this was the one filmed a good bit in Tuscaloosa.  I was a kid but remember seeing it and Burt from a distance.

He’s the kind of guy that puts on work gloves to run his electric weedeater. And wears a Tyvek coveralls to spray weed killer.

Exposure to cancer causing chemicals shows manhood.

I heard that he wear a condom when he masterbates.
