Ive read a lot about this band because of their tie to McCartney (who wrote some of their songs). Although good, they were consideried a bit of a disappointment since many dubbed them the next Beatles.

I have seriously thought he was an upper falsetto (much like Mercury) but some times he has sounded even higher.....almost a woman's mezzo soprano. Dude can belt. More Than A Feeling is one of the great RnR tunes of our time.

I always considered Boston a transition group, taking us out of the latter Disco-pop stuff back to some semi-rock, much like GNR from the Glam rock.
