Here is the picture as I see it shaping up right now.Auburn will lose at least twenty five players following the 2010 football season. Twenty of these players are starters or backups that play regularly. There could also be others that decide to transfer to get playing time or opt out for the NFL draft.The Auburn offensive line will be hit the hardest loosing every starter except one offensive tackle. This is four of five starters.The Auburn defensive line will be hit hard as well losing two defensive tackles and two defensive ends that either started or played regularly.The Auburn receiving corps will lose at least two members, but replacements are already in place.The Auburn defensive backfield will lose at least three key players that must be replaced.At quarterback Auburn looks fine, but must start planning for the future.Auburn loses one running back, but a replacement is already in place.Linebackers will be hit especially hard losing two of three starters.One thing Auburn fans need to understand, this is a normal attrition process. Every team expects to lose between 15 and 25 players per year. This does mean Auburn will be taking another full class of recruits.Auburn signed a highly rated offensive line class in 2010 with five members covering both offensive guard and offensive tackle.Auburn also signed a very good defensive line class in 2010 with six members covering defensive tackle and defensive end.The Auburn 2010 class of linebackers was under rated due to their unique physical qualities to fit into the Auburn defensive scheme.The areas that must be addressed with the 2011 class are, offensive center, defensive tackle, offensive guard, offensive tackle, defensive back, linebacker, defensive end, running back, quarterback, receiver.Auburn has three verbal commits for 2011. One offensive guard, one safety, and one outside linebacker make up the current class at this point. All three of these players are of exceptional quality.I believe Auburn will again take a class of twenty five recruits. The coaching staff has made offers to some of the highest rated recruits in the nation at each position. Some of these recruits are expected to verbally commit to Auburn at this week’s A-Day Game .Auburn fans can look here for some information on some of the quarterbacks that have offers.While it is still early, indications are that the Auburn staff will again wow Auburn fans with a top recruiting class. The talent level is on the rise and that trend will continue this year.

Uzomah6'5" 230 lbs40 time: 4.7 Suawannee, Georgia (North Gwinnett)Notes: Uzomah is a little more raw than Driskel, Lemay and Frazier, but he has tons of tools to work with and a lot of upside. He's very smart at the QB position and usually makes a good decision with the ball. He also has very good agility and moves around in the pocket well. Another great thing about Uzomah is his size. At 6'5" he'll have no problems seeing over offensive linemen to make his reads and really has all the tools necessary to be a big time player at the college level. The only knock I've seen on Uzomah from any scout is questionable arm strength. Not to say he has a weak arm, because he doesn't. It's just questionable whether or not he has an elite arm when talking about strength. However, as stated above, what he may lack in arm strength, he makes up for with accuracy and smarts. Uzomah will be a catch for anyone lucky enough to acquire his services. He has offers from AU, AL, Clem, TN, UGA, LSU and others. Christian LeMay6'2" 200 lbs40 time: 4.59Matthews, North Carolina (Butler)Notes: Lemay has only narrowed his college choices down to 10 as of now. AU is among them, but his offer list is a who's who in the college football world. Auburn is fighting FL, UGA, AL, Clem, TN, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame and others for his services. Lemay has impressed scouts and coaches from all over the country who have gone to see him in action. He was the top QB performer at the VTO Elite 100 camp in Charlotte, NC. He showed tremendous poise and accuracy from the pocket. Lemay has a big time arm, throws consistent, accurate spirals and can basically make any throw he needs to make. He has a great deep ball and is very accurate with those throws as well. Lemay also lists a 40 time in the high 4.5 to low 4.6 ranges, which gives him the speed he needs to escape the pocket and get away from defenders when a play breaks down. Time and time again though, Lemay is praised by scouts for his leadership and maturity as much as his physical abilities. Known as a player that leads by example and rarely, if ever gets rattled during a game, Lemay will be a huge coup for any college program lucky enough to get his signature on signing day. Jeff Driskel6'3" 225 lbs40 time: 4.52Oviedo, Florida (Hagerty)Notes: Jeff Driskel may be the best dual-threat QB in all of high-school football in the class of 2011. Driskel is a U.S. Army All-American and was also the unanimous choice for the top performing QB at the prestigious EA Sports Elite 11 camp in Orlando, FL. Driskel likes Auburn a lot, but has yet to narrow his choices of colleges down. AU will be battling TN, LSU, Clemson, Virginia Tech and all of the Florida schools for his services. Driskel is the total package. He has an amazing arm, with both strength and accuracy. He has an outstanding ability to scramble out of the pocket using his legit 4.5 speed and is an excellent leader as well. Driskel also plays centerfield for his baseball team and says he will continue to play baseball and be a dual-sport athlete for the lucky school that gets his signature. Kiehl Frazier6'3" 212 lbs40 time: 4.57Springdale, Arkansas (Shiloh Christian)Notes: Staking his claim to high-school football's best dual-threat QB is Kiehl Frazier. Frazier, like Driskel, is also a U.S. Army All-American and has just as many tools. The 6'3" signal caller can do it all. As a junior, Frazier put up some seriously impressive numbers. He threw for 3,817 yards and 48 TD's, completing 63% of his passes and added another 746 yards and 14 TD's on the ground. There simply isn't anything Frazier can't do with the football. He has an amazing arm, great speed and is an impressive leader. As you would expect, Frazier has plenty of schools to choose from. He's up to 24 scholarship offers and counting. Auburn should be one of his finalists when he gets close to making his decision and it could come down to an AU vs ARK battle. A date has not been set for his announcement yet, but it's rumored that he may graduate in December and join his team of choice at that time.
