4 up 3 down for the Tigers in the bottom of the 8th. We head to the top of the 9th with Auburn holding a 16-13 lead.

Elsewhere in the conference, UT beats UGA 25-5. bammer drops their second game of the series to the Gators, 14-8. UT takes over 8th place & bammer drops to 9th in the conference standings.

I was, and was really second guessing my decision to drive down to watch. What a hell of a comeback. This team has the offensive weapons to hang with anyone. With a minimum of merely adequate pitching, these guys could make some real noise in both tourneys.

Auburn's 5 game winning streak was snapped last night.

The game against South Alabama went into 11 innings and they ended up winning 10-9.

Doesn't mean much as far as postseason goes, so hopefully we're ready for the home series with Tennessee this weekend.

A 2 out, 2 run homer by the Jags in the 9th sent it to extra innings. Sucks to lose, but hopefully we got it out of the system and will stomp some UT ass this weekend.

So series with Tennessee tonight.

If we win this series, we are a 100% lock to go to Hoover, no matter what bammer does.

Two wins between the next two series is all it will take.

The Vols have been hot, winning the last three series and 8 games in a row (a whole extra series more than our winning streak that was just snapped by South Alabama).
