Captain Lou was the exception.  Jake the Snake should be grateful he's still slithering.  Hulk should be happy he's, oh you get it.

Shocking how many of these guys keeled over in their 40s.

Wow.  I didn't realize half of those guys were dead.  Of course, I haven't watched wrestling since I was a teen.  Even at a young age, I knew Miss Elizabeth was a coke whore.

I never watched it as a kid, but went through a brief WWF/E period in the late  90s.

The Rock was hilarious.  Mick Foley (Mankind) a punishment beast.  Stephanie McMahon had the most enormous boobs and I found her wealth intoxicating.  Undertaker, DX (with the Road Dog), Hardcore Holley, Ken Shamrock, Jericho, Trish Stratus, Lita (loved Lita), Matt and Jeff Hardy, The Dudleys, Kane (with the mask), Triple H, Jim Ross, The King, The Big Show, Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Kip something or other... those were funny times.

It didn't last long.

95-99 were the last years I watched it.  Watched it as a kid in the 80's.  My favorite Rock moments were his "Corporate" moments.  The Corporate Elbow was a classic.

I currently use the Corporate eyebrow and plan on using the Corporate Elbow when the time is right.

Wow.  I haven't thought about those names in a long time.   How could you forget about Stonecold?

Also, Trish Stratus was it back when she first hit the scene.  I couldn't get enough of her.

Didn't forget about Steve, but he was injured and a non-factor during the brief period I watched it.  Debra was out there and at one point they were building a house on North River in Tuscaloosa.  Theirs might have actually been on the Walker County side, though.

I used my "credentials" and finagled some passes when that circus came through Birmingham in 1999 or 2000.   It was fun to watch up close.

Trish was amazing.

But Lita was hot, too. She didn't have the face Trish did (or the boobs) but she had that lithe athletic body.  Her thong above those cargo pants....

Lita always had a bit too much testosterone in her personality.  Wasn't a big fan.

But Trish?

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

It was also a sad day when Hart died.  I was watching that event when he fell and broke his neck.

As were Ogre and I.  We both were like...why are they blacking out the screen?  And which storyline is this "fall" going to be written into?  I didn't know it was real until the next day.  Vince McMahon made that speech during the Pay Per View that Hart fell...said the show must go on...

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Remembe the Diamond Cutter.  Diamond Dallas Page has turned into a health freak and he's the trainer on the Carnie Wilson Unstapled Show.  I was flipping channels and saw him, don't recommend the show though.

Whatever happened to X-Pac?

I saw where Mick Foley is back wrestling with some secondhand outfit.  Supposedly Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Eric Bishoff, Raven, Rick Flair, Sting, Taz and the Dudleys, among others, have washed up there too.
