Vince McMahon was really hating on The Wrestler in an interview. He aid it is not an accurate representation of what the business is like now. However, many of the older wrestlers that have seen it said it is very accurate on how it used to be before the steroids and drug abuse in the industry became a big issue in the media.

Yeah...  I'm not sure if that was sucky to suckier to suckiest or suckiest to suckier to sucky.  Either way, it looks like Hollywood is going to have another stellar year.   :taunt:

Laughing is one thing...  I find most car accidents and train wrecks amusing, but I wouldn't pay to go see them.  Don't get me wrong.  I used to be a movie guy too, but Hollywood has ruined it for me.  They've recycled too many ideas.  The commercials/trailers always show the best scenes, ruining the movie going experience.  Nowadays, I can get two or three drinks for the price of a single movie ticket.  Most actors are a bunch of ignorant, loud-mouf'd Leftists...  Fuck 'em!  Fuck 'em all...

Besides, most movies are out on DVD in 6-8 months and cable in just a few more...  I can wait.

This is the way I look at it:

I paid a lot for my HDTV, my surround sound system, and my PS3. I will just wait until a movie comes out on Blu-Ray, wait for it to be uploaded as a bit torrent then download the Blu-Ray version for free, and then transcode/mux it with a program made so Blu-Ray files will play on the PS3 just like it is a disc. You can't even tell the difference between a 1080p h264 Blu-Ray file and the same movie on Blu-Ray disc.
If I do like a movie enough to own it, I then will go buy it on Blu-Ray disc. Blu-Ray files are too big to permanently keep because they can average anywhere from 4GB-12GB a file.

The only time I will go to the movies is when it is some cool action flick that I just can't wait for and would be better on the big screen anyway. There are some movies that just are not as good at home as they were at the theater. I just discovered that "The Dark Knight" is the most recent example of that.

Supposedly Marissa Tomei gets naked in the Wrestler.  That alone makes it a must see for me.
