The 90s was weird.  But here goes

• Backstreet’s Back
• The Next Episode
• California Love
• Man In the Box
• Jungle / Unholy - 90s KISS was a mess. Reunion hit in 96. These two prior songs proved KISS could make better music and didn’t have to rely on the juvenile “sucky sucky on my big ol dingle” songs.
• No Diggity
• November Rain
• No Rain
• Ruff Ryders Anthem
• Killing in the Name
• Coming Undone
• Wannabe
• Everlong
• OPP
• Enter Sandman - hell, that entire album
• No More Tears
• Right Now
• Semi-Charmed Life
• Dragula
• You Oughta Know
• Baby One More Time
• Ordinary World
• Show Me the Way (Styx)
• Nookie

Is that 10?

I can’t believe y’all dissing Coolio like dat. Gangstas paradise!
Mellenkamp - Wild Nights
Sugar Ray - Every Morning

Ska was born:
No Doubt - Don’t Speak
Smash Mouth - Walking on the Sun

BBD - Poison you know you hit the floor in the clubs to that. Same with:
Digital Underground- Humpty Dance
Faith No More - Epic
Wallflowers - One Headlight
TLC killed the charts in the 90s
You couldn’t go out anywhere without hearing C&C Music Factory
RHCPs - Under the bridge
The 90s was a weird time for music. My taste varied.

Early 90s chasing the chicks at the clubs.

And then there was some of the best country songs ever written in the 90s.
Too many to list. I think country was king in the 90s.
If you don’t believe me, here’s a quarter. Call someone who cares.

Just because you have an odd taste in music does not make you the expert.

The 90s created a whole new avenue for many talented artists in the country music genre.

If you didn’t like it, that’s your loss.

you can't necessarily take 80's country "starts" like Dwight Yoakam that crossed in to 90's ...90's ushered in a change for the most part to the shit we got in the 2000's and beyond though some exceptions today and the 90's that are enjoyable.

Liked country and bubble gum pop somewhat less than rock but never really hated anything. Anything popular was always overplayed until it sickened you.
Didn't think much of hair bands or Nashville cowboys either so I'm pretty much returning to outdated stuff like Jay Farrah at Son Volt's beginnings for a consolidation of rock with twang.
I find it pleasing to the ear.

Close to being deaf anyway so what does it matter?

Garth, diamond rio, lonestar, little Texas, shania. Just garbage.

any 90s list has to have:

Teen spirit
