Might as well see if we can donate to the greater Las Vegas improvement fund.
ND (-20.5)/Navy (playing this one in Dublin)
USC (-30)/SJSU
Utah (-7)/UF
That Utah line is one to watch as the Utes' players are dropping like flies, apparently. Even so, I think the UF squad is going to struggle in SLC. I'll lay the points.
No reason to think Riley struggles in LA against San Jose and he'll want to start the Williams Heisman campaign strong. Look for the Trojans to run the score up if they can.
Notre Dame is maybe pretty good this year? I don't know. Early in the season, on the other side of the pond, against a triple-option offense that you likely won't see again all year...I think a 3TD victory is asking a bit much. Gimme the points and the seamen.
I'd lay the points over in Ireland. Yes, ND is expected to be purty good this year, but Navy is probably going to be purty bad. While they will still run some option, they're switching up the offense. They fired Ken Nuatololtologolofuala, and promoted the DC to HC after they had a BLT on the QT at TGIF.
Navy was 4-8 last season, averaging 22 points and 326 total yards a game. 86 of that was through the air, and they are going to try and be a bit more pass happy this year.
Having said that, Navy always seems to be outmanned, outskrengthed, outquicked and outkicked. But, they always hang around.
