I thought the same thing. The timing of this and the caravan headed towards the border is just too well orchestrated. Then, you have Mueller set to release the initial findings of the investigation just after the midterms. If they were damning to Trump, it would have long since been out. But just the hint that information will be released puts that seed in people's minds that Trump is about to go down.
