Words are so mean
« on: August 30, 2018, 05:10:10 PM »
In regard to the Florida governor’s race.

If you hear your rival encourage voters to “not monkey this up” and your racial outrage is triggered?  That’s YOUR fault.  You clearly associate yourself with monkeys. Idiot.

If you hear your opponent praise you as ‘articulate’ in lauding your performance in debates and you are triggered because you insert your own insecurities and take his comments as being racially disparaging? You’re not the racist.  Idiot.

I watched this clip.

This is the "trump affect" for me.

1. When he stated that the gubernatorial candidate "articulated" his socialist stance much better than the other democrats, I don't think in any way he was trying to slight his opponent.

2. When he said, "we don't want to monkey this up" when referring to his black opponent...I cringed because there were so many other words that could have been used rather than "monkey" and it sounded forced.

3. After hearing people say calling him "articulate" was racist, it made me completely ignore the "monkey up" comment.

They keep doing it to themselves.

He wasn't even referring to his opponent when he said "monkey it up."  He was talking about the progress made under the prior governor.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Because, you know the word monkey means nothing else and was invented during the civil rights era.
