Why would you want to water down good bourbon?  Unless you're drinking Old Crow or Black Velvet, bourbon should be on ice.

Pussy.

Been busy as all hell...not even gonna bore folks with the details.

As far as the offense is concerned, I'm not going to throw Todd under the bus because (1) that's just not my style, especially with players and (2) it doesn't take a QB with a rocket arm or even be fleet of foot to run a spread offense.

I think back to Oklahoma when Stoops was first hired...his first offensive coordinator was Mike Leach and their QB was a spaghetti-armed slow guy named Josh Heupel.  Year 1 was shaky (7-5) because they were digging out from under the mess John Blake and Howard Schnellenberger left behind, year 2 they go 13-0.  Heupel was no run threat at all...he was very accurate, he had a decent college RB in year 2 and his receivers made plays.  Most importantly, his OL protected well and let him do his thing.

Our offensive issues are unit-wide...there's not a single position that can say they're doing their job at a high level.  The OL has struggled much more than I thought they would and that will cause an offense to spiral downward in a hurry.  Combine that with fumble-itis from the backfield and a QB that is getting his first real taste of major college football (and that would be the case no matter who was starting) and you get 8 offensive pts/game in SEC play.

I hope it gets better, but I am not holding my breath.

I do believe that if our guys take care of the ball tomorrow, they'll beat Vanderbilt.
