Jade Rhodes has a grand slam and Kasey Cooper follows up with a 2 run shot as Auburn jumps out on top of Samford 14-1 in the 2nd inning.

Methinks this is going to be a mercy rule game.

18-1 now in the top of the 4th. Auburn has batted around in 2 of the 4 innings so far.

Heading to the bottom of the 5th with Auburn up 18-1. Samford needs 9 runs to avoid the mercy rule.

Ballgame!

Auburn picks up their 24th win of the year with a 18-1 beatdown of Samford.

The record jumps to 24-3 (1-2). They hit the road for Starkville to meet MSU for the weekend conference series.
