Not sure who's out there, but I really think we need a decent defensive coordinator that will stay a while. No more of these hot names. Get someone that can coach just well enough for Gus's offense to win the games.

Gus doesn't have time to find someone who is going to stay awhile. He's got one year to turn this shit show around or his ass is going to be gone. He better hire the best damn DC in the country to try and keep his job if not we'll be searching for a new ball coach next year.

As shitty as the offense of the "genius" was this year, that has to be pretty damn well

I still think a young, proven underpaid guy like Aranda is the way to go. Too much jockeying for DCs and staffers to be small timing it. The midget, Richt and others will be looking as well.

Agree. There are talented guys around we just don't need to malinger and then have to settle. Might be a good idea to toss some erroneous names about and just go get THE guy. Jus sayin.

Someone here said Paul Rhodes. That would be nice. I'm sure Gus could make a new bicycle a part of the contract.

Someone similar is Phil Parker from Iowa but after reading some articles, he seems pretty loyal to Iowa.

Whoever it is, surely Coach Malzahn has a list of DCs, especially knowing that Coach Muschamp wouldn't be sticking around for long. I expect the new DC to be announced sometime in Feb.
