That would require coaching???????????
It's a combination of State's two large weapons that we couldn't stop AND a more accurate passer in Thompson. And Davis is a fucking bad-assed load to tackle.

Clueless! Confusion reigns. Frost wants to call time out and we are lost.

Eillis no longer being schooled. He is being bitched slapped.

If they have the ball on the last drive on a close game, they win.

Our defense makes me ashamed to be ranked so highly and even if we win I'm pretty sure we will drop after this showing.

Dang 3 AM for that.

Defense took the night off.

But offense showed up!

I have no idea what kind of team we have.

But I am happy for the win!

WDE!

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Yup. Thankfully they didn't catch the defensive penalty for having two #1s on the field at the same time (Duke & Montravious)...shhh!!! We'll just keep that 'tween us Xers.

OBC threw everything he had at us. Thank God our offense answered every time plus one.

Our defense actually, paradoxically, saved that game for us with those three interceptions. I don't know what was going on but I saw a lot of confusion in the secondary. Everyone just kind of looking at each other...frantic hand signals....a lot of wtf.

And speaking of wtf, the fucking refs were awful. And I guess no one is going to call holding ever again.

Agree with all of this.  SC isn't as bad as they have looked recently.  They have one of the greatest coaches in college football, a senior QB and a beast RB.  This was a good win.

I'd like to see more out of the defense, especially the secondary (wasn't Whitehead supposed to be back for this one?).

The positive takeaway for me was the from about the mid-2nd quarter on our offense finally looked like it should: power running, pulling guards and Marshall running the read-option to perfection.

What I read (I think) was that he had not practiced with the team for these weeks and would only play on special teams, (kick-off and such)
