Meanwhile #10 Ole Miss is stomping Memphis going into the 4th qtr...7-3.
They're sleepwalking through it.  This is the team that Ole Miss fans have wanted for years.

I have no problems with this win. Sounds like some spoiled already. I will be concerned more so next week if we play like shit. That will mean AU can't get up for the big games.

I don't think its CAP.

I think its a combo of NM and the OL. The timing is off. The reads are off. Hopefully this will shore up more as season goes on. But it is a slight worry at the moment. Good news is, the D looks decent - and thats without Whitehead and Lawson.

Yeah, who would have thunk it. The D being as nasty as it is, I am pleasantly surprised.  On the other hand, I just think the OL needs it's right combo and will be fine. Again,  let's see how the teams plays this week. This would take away from the sleep walking theory and show if it is truly a problem and not just motivation.

Running it ineffectively or not, do we not know anything but the fucking deep ball?

Really. Throwing the deep ball as compared to throwing for first downs with the potential for a big play just doesn't make sense to me.

I say that knowing that we shouldn't depend on the home run rather than a consistent, sustained drive.

Sleepwalking doesn't usually lead to bench clearing brawls.

It doesn't matter if Ole Miss beat them by 3 points or 35.  Alabama is still going to beat Ole Miss.  And no matter what, you're going to be the first one here to tell everyone how bad Ole Miss is and the REAL test for Alabama is going to be whatever other team.

Sorry to tell ya, but Ole Miss is not a "real test"...not sure if you've actually looked at y'all's schedule, but the "real test" will come in the Iron Bowl, like DJ stated...meanwhile Auburn will have already had their "real tests" starting this weekend against LSU. Also, Ole Miss is not that good.

Is there still a rule that if you leave the bench you are suspended for a game?

So LSU is a "real test" when we play them at home, but not when they play them in Baton Rouge?

FWIW, I think the next two weeks (Arkansas & A&M) will be "real tests" for Bama.

Agree.   I also think Ole Piss will be the hardest challenge to date for bammer.

Agree on your agreeance and that Ole Miss is marginally better than Florida.

I don't think it'll be enough for them to win (probably), but I think it ends up being about a 1 TD game.

And asking the Down's Syndrome girl out for a date is a marginally tougher challenge than asking the paraplegic girl to the school dance.
