Bo, Barkley and the Big Hurt
« on: August 22, 2014, 09:06:01 AM »
You SEC network haters missed a great one last night. Bo, Barkley and the Big Hurt. It was really, really good. Interviews/excerpts from Baird, Dye, Sonny, Housel, Muncher Marshall, etc. Talked about the difference they made in our school and the respective programs. And how much influence they had on pro sports.

Still trying to figure out why they had Saban on toward the end. That one was ridiculous to have in there but it was just a teaser for the program.

Part of the story talks about how Barkley has this ranking of AU importance which is: 1. Charles 2. Bo 3. Frank. And the fact that they were all three at the '13 Iron Bowl on the sidelines.

Barkley was the reason we became a winning basketball program under Sonny Smith and for those of you who don't realize the impact, think of the x pre-WT. And I'm serious when I say that. It's virtually the same.  He had that much positive impact. He took a bunch of losers and a losing program and did a 180.

Recorded it and watched it.

Why in the hell did they have to interview Nick Fucking Saban at the end and get his opinion?  You think I give a fuck what that turd roper thinks about Bo?

And while I'm at it, Phillip Marshall looked like he'd eaten Jabba the Hutt and then went on a three-week cocaine and whiskey binge.  Sounded worse than that.  His rheumy eyes, swollen purple lips, thick slobbering tongue and Dollar General green long-sleeve polo looked great on TV.

This.  All of it.  Marshall was an embarrassment.

Is it wrong that he was more painful to watch than Saban?

At least what Saban said made sense and was coherent. WTF did Marshall even say? I couldnt understand gargle.

Watched it last night and I thought it was very well done.  I don't know why Saban was included either, but it didn't matter much.   Marshall was just...Wow!  I don't think words can describe how bad he looked/sounded.

Instead of having Saban and Fat Phil they should have interviewed Bobby Lowder: Best money I ever spent.
