Alright, these names got me thinking. Any of you recruitnics recall what the "" factor was for these guys? I know Obmanomanibdi was a stud and highly rated. Herring was a QB at Opelika if I recall correctly. We all know Courtney's 1 star status and I honestly don't remember where Hobbs is from or how he was rated.
I have a feeling that coming in to their freshmen years, possibly Obwonbanob was the only guy the "Experts" thought would shine at D-1...much less doing interviews while playing for the Seasquawks. War Fuckin' Tuberville.

Was outstanding quarterback and safety in high school, but will likely play strong safety or whip on Tiger defense, but may get shot a quarterback; at quarterback last season, threw for 960 yards with 13 TDs with only four INTs, while running for 1,050 yards 12 TDs; on defense, known head-hunting tough hitter; No. 18 on The Huntsville Times Top 25; No. 29 on Pigskip Preps Top 40; The Birmingham News "Best of the Rest"; may also play baseball for Tigers. Picked Auburn over Middle Tennessee State, which offered at quarterback; fully qualified academically. Also recruited by Arkansas, LSU and North Carolina State.

Parade All-America and rated the state's No. 1 prospect; rated No. 14 receiver in nation by Max Emfinger, who says: "No. 1 player in Alabama this year. Obomanu has blazing speed, tremendous hands and is a threat to score on every play"; The Atlanta Journal-Constitution "Super Southern 100"; despite being double and tripled-teamed during senior year, had 31 receptions for 460 yards and 19 TDs; four-year starter also had 20 rushes for 218 yards and three TDs and completed two-of-six passes for 19 yards and another touchdown; had 284 yards and one touchdown on special teams, putting up 19 yards per return; accounted for more than 50 touchdowns during his career; as junior, accounted for 11 TDs, catching six as wide receiver, and returning three punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns also started at free safety on defense and had four INTs as junior; also starting small forward on Selma High School basketball team, averaging 12 points and eight rebounds per game; consistently runs 4.4 in 40-yard dash and has 37-inch vertical jump; ranked No. 1 in his class academically with 4.3 GPA and has already scored 26 on ACT.
