You're still just bitter about being written out, Rufus.

Leavin' me out's okay because you still got twelve white boys to choose from.

Whether they shopped the guy's head on the photo or not (they did) doesn't change the fact that they had to stage a photo of non-threatening Carlton-in-a-gown diversity in the first place.  They scoured the campus to make sure they had one token in the mix.

At least they knew better than to look under center on the football team.

Bless you, my son.  You shall receive the reward of eternal Sapphire & Tonic-drenched lap dances at Diamonds.
A lap dance from Sapphire is OK, but don't want Tonic if she's drenched - drenched in what?

Meanwhile, Auburn started 5 black QBs in one game this weekend. That's got to be a record. And one that will probably stand for a long time.

Nick Marshall, Jeremy Johnson, Jonathan Wallace, Cameron Artis-Payne, and Kiehl Frazier all went under center.

I think I had some ancestors that would use a 22 black person team to take the field.  Beat that, Auburn.

This has me thinking. Is Auburn not black QB U?

I would think this is one of those things that's better left unsaid, but it really should be a point of pride.

Five black QBs in one game has got to be a record that will not be broken any time soon.

Black QBs that have started at Auburn just from memory:
Marshall
Johnson
Wallace
Frazier
Newton
Burns
Campbell
Craig
Slack
Washington
Thomas

Does any other school come close to this?

Grambling

I'm throwing in Southern and Tuskegee.

In 1981 and 1982, Clayton Beauford got some starts at QB.  Later switched to pass catcher.  Clayton was of the African American persuasion.

Grambling also holds the record for the most black nose guards. And I didn't verify but Hawaii has prob got to have the record for most samoan left offensive tackles.

Not what I call a QB.
I wouldn't call CA-P one either, but he played the position.

And played it better. KF is JH on offense.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

How do five different quarterbacks, regardless of their color, start one game?
