I don't care if it was a religious gesture or not. The shit is against the rules, and if he did not follow the rules, too fucking bad.
I almost posted yesterday that I doubt a simple "point to heaven" disqualified the kid.
But shame on the father. This could be a lesson for the kid not to do stupid shit and to follow the rules, but instead, we leave it to the god damn father to take this shit to the press and get every one to feel sorry for this kid. This is what is wrong with society and it makes me sick.
And bottomefeeder...you are a god damn idiot. What the fuck does authority have to do with anything. There are rules in place for a reason. If you don't want to abide them...fine...don't race. But don't fucking participate and then bitch about the rules you knew were there going in.
