The song you posted doesn't sound much different than some of his stuff with Staind.

This one is more mainstream country.  Not bad.  Nothing that really sets apart either other than who is doing it.  If it came on the radio I would think it could be Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, etc.

Seems Lewis kind of molded his path from ol' Hootie. Of course the Blowfish didn't rock like Staind, but you see the similarities.
