I watched it.  Twice.  Didn't get it.  Think it sucks.  Just another shitty Will Ferrell movie to me.

Napoleon Dynamite yes.  The rest?  No.  Dumb and Dumber may be the most hated movie in my list of hated movies.  NATM is for 12-year olds.

And you're probably right.  My daughter was 12 when it came out and we watched it many times together.  Perhaps this is why I like it.  Uncle Rico was funny because I know that guy in real life.
