I'm thinking instead of trading players, the Cards and the Braves need to just trade stadiums.

The Braves stink it up with average teams but then show out against the Cards. Its very weird and I don't care for it.

The National League East looks like it's going to be a horse race all year long. A week ago the Braves had gone from 1st to virtually tied with the Phillies for last. Suddenly, they took a series from Washington on the road and then swept the Marlins in Meeyami. Now, they're 1 game out of first. The Phillies have been sucking mightily for some reason this year. Pretty much held the cellar most of the season. I still look for them to get their shit together and make a run.

Okay...I'll let this one slide. But I'm asking the BKG's to keep an eye on you.

You know, if either of these franchises would get off the pocketbooks, they'd kick some ass. The Bravos have a great core of young players and veteran players sprinkled in. But they did NOTHING in the off season. Not a damn thing. They stood pat on a club that faded and failed last year like few have. The Marlins at least made a real attempt to upgrade the roster and I think they'll be there at the end.

They hired new hitting coaches. I think that helped.

Okay, so theres that. Certainly looks like it helped Heyward. I would have F'n LOVED for them to have gone after Reyes. Can you imagine Bourn and Reyes at the top of your lineup with Freeman, Chopper Lite, Jones and Heyward driving them in?

Seems like Utley has stayed hurt for most of thelast 3 seasons. Bravos have now won 7 of 8 after last nights 4-3 win over the Jays. Streaky streaky streaky.
