My favorite global warming alarmist strikes again.

http://tennesseepolicy.org/main/article.php?article_id=764

my favorite quote in the article is this one:

In the wake of becoming the most well-known global warming alarmist, Gore won an Oscar, a Grammy and the Nobel Peace Prize. In addition, Gore saw his personal wealth increase by an estimated $100 million thanks largely to speaking fees and investments related to global warming hysteria.

The reason that the alarmists are so concerned about the enviroment is the amount of money they are making off the idiots that believe them.

I enjoyed this article.

http://www.kusi.com/weather/colemanscorner/19842304.html

Thanks for posting that excellent article "AUTailgatingRules"; very good read.

I was particularly amused by Mr. Coleman's use of religious metaphors at one point when describing Al Gore as the High Priest of anthropogenic global warming.  There truly is very little science behind the global warming non-sense so to refer to it as a religion involving lots of faith is entirely appropriate.
Further, I did not know the story behind Al Gore's obsession with anthropogenic global warming; I thought that background at Harvard and Scripps Oceanographic Institute was quite interesting.

Well, as I've said before these global warming alarmists won't be satisfied until they have completely de-industrialized the US altogether turning us into some kind of "turd" world nation.  And the sheeple will believe that carbon dioxide is poison and not the naturally forming gas that is necessary for life on this planet.

I rather liked his comment on this latter subject:

Quote
May I stop here for a few historical notes?  First, the internal combustion engine and gasoline were awful polluters when they were first invented.  And, both gasoline and automobile engines continued to leave a layer of smog behind right up through the 1960’s.  Then science and engineering came to the environmental rescue.  Better exhaust and ignition systems, catalytic converters, fuel injectors, better engineering throughout the engine and reformulated gasoline have all contributed to a huge reduction in the exhaust emissions from today’s cars. Their goal then was to only exhaust carbon dioxide and water vapor, two gases widely accepted as natural and totally harmless.  Anyone old enough to remember the pall of smog that used to hang over all our cities knows how much improvement there has been.  So the environmentalists, in their battle against fossil fuels and automobiles had a very good point forty years ago, but now they have to focus almost entirely on the once harmless carbon dioxide.  And, that is the rub.  Carbon dioxide is not an environmental problem; they just want you now to think it is.

And his concluding statement is a very good summary:

Quote
I love this civilization.  I want to do my part to protect it.  If Al Gore and his global warming scare dictates the future policy of our governments, the current economic downturn could indeed become a recession, drift into a depression and our modern civilization could fall into an abyss. And it would largely be a direct result of the global warming frenzy.

Clearly you are a global warming denier!  (sarcasm)

You should read "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton; that book really opened my eyes to the fraud behind Glow-bull worming; it is a novel but it has more science facts in it than the science fiction of Al Gore.

This does not surprise me at all but what does surprise me is that they didn't just take it a step further and blame it on the evil Bush Administration and Halliburton/Dick Cheney!

The envirobablist nitwits have had it in for "Big Agri-biz" and especially GMO food products for a long time and this is just another example of their fear-mongering to get the sheeple stirred up.

I don't know if this nation is ever going to wake up to this fraudulent non-sense.
