According to media reports, this was the brainstorm of Miracle's daughter, Juli. Her mother and brother were creeped out enough that they refused to participate, so Juli Miracle recruited some other family members to fill out the spelling bee. What people do at the funeral of their kin is their own business, but sending out pictures of ghoulish rituals performed with wild grins on their faces strikes The Dash as flippin' weird.
