"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

For those of us who tote the note for the rest of the country there isn't one now.

I have just about had all I can stand when it comes to this tax bullshit.  When the topic comes up, both of those clowns on the Left seem to always be talking about "reversing the Bush tax cuts."  Well, the wealthy in this country already pay a disproportionately higher tax rate than anyone else, and right now, they're actually paying more than ever before!
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119786208643933077.html

Quote
In 1980, when the top income tax rate was 70%, the richest 1% paid only 19% of all income taxes; now, with a top rate of 35%, they pay more than double that share.

You may not think of yourself as rich, but I think you'd be surprised where you fall in the distribution.  If your household income is in the 90k range, you're likely in the top 10% of all American tax payers.  If you're household income is more than 120k, you're likely in the top 5% of all tax payers.  That's not hard to do if your household is made up of two professionals with a bit of experience.  In 2005, the top 5% of all tax payers paid nearly 60% of all federal income taxes while only earning approximately 36% of all reported income.  And, this is with those evil Bush tax cuts.

The other day, Obama said that he didn't see a problem with "raising the capital gains tax to 20, 25% or even higher."  In another meet, he was asked why he would consider such an increase.  He replied, "For fairness."  What the FUCK is "FAIR" about taxing some people more than others?  What the FUCK is "FAIR" about taxing certain activities more than others?  What the FUCK is your concept of "FAIRNESS?"

There was something to the founding principle of requiring land ownership to vote.  In fact, I personally think that our vote should count in proportion to the tax dollars that we pay.  Those who pay are active investors in our country.  Those who pay more should logically have more of a say in how our country is managed.  After all, it's their money.  It's their investment.  They should have more of a vote.  At least, that's a concept of "FAIRNESS" that I would like to apply to these deadbeats on the Left.

Your last paragraph is probably one of the better ideas I have heard in quite some time.  Politicians have turned taxes into a tool for class warfare, which is one of the many reasons I'm a huge supporter of the FairTax.  Repeal the 16th Amendment NOW!

Not to preach like a Dave Ramsey or jump on you as an example, you might just have to curb your current standard of living a bit.  Even if you only do it temporarily to build up a few thousand in the bank for that rainy day cushion or to knock out a couple of credit card balances, you'd be surprised by how much pressure it can relieve.

Even though America has the highest average standard of living in the world, too many people in this country live beyond their means.  This housing mess is a perfect example.  A television interview with one of these so-called "victims" had this single mother who earned about $30k per year purchasing a $300+k home with an adjustable rate interest-only loan.  As soon as her rate rose above 6%, she couldn't afford the payment anymore.  BOOHOOHOOO!!!

STUPIDITY SHOULD BE PAINFUL!
