Can Someone Please Explain This To Me

Can someone please explain why you would have to spend millions or billions of dollars to get a job that only pays about $300,000 a year.

It does not cease to amaze me how much money these candidates can raise with such a "bad economy" and a borderline "recession" going on.  How do these guys (Democrats especially!) keep a straight face when talking about economic "woes" while raising this kind of money?

And I have to call  :bs: on the comment that most of the money is coming from a tiny group of largely wealthy Americans.  I just got a mass email from the Obama campaign this week saying that most of their funds are coming from supporters who contribute $200 or less?  Could Barack be lying?  (sarcasm)

If you stop giving him money, he will stop sending you emails.
