Yeah pretty much what JR said.....Dye piped up with a comment about Leach and said that people who are into pirates and shit like Leach "aint right". That people with sense don't have fantasies about pirates. Blah blah blah.......
It was all in reference to Leach not saying he though bammer was the #1 team...and it sorta pizzed me that Dye went on so much defending bammer, but anyway...Finebaum played that clip for Leach the past week, and Leach said: Well they got fired too, and I guess that puts me in good company based on their successes, but at least I didn't get fired for NCAA violations.
Dye and Stallings' championships of various sorts say he is full of shit. If youre gonna have wet dreams about pirates and shit, you have to expect some crap to be slung in your direction. FWIW - I don't disagree with Dye in his defense of Bama. Kind of a "defending the turf" situation. They are the old guard, and Leach is not.
To be honest, Dye and Stallings came off like a couple of typical bammer callers instead of former coaches, including Stallings with his "Where's he coaching now?" I'd say Leach came off a lot better than the two of them in that particular instance.
