All Rhoads lead to...

A pig sty?

Don't know if anybody else noticed, but a former AU DC and Iowa State HC, a guy who was floated as a possible defensive coordinator choice again at AU, slipped into Little Rock last night to take a job with Jabba the Butt as a position coach.

http://www.kcci.com/sports/new-job-just-announced-for-former-isu-coach-paul-rhoads/38165358

He's the new Razorbacks defensive backs coach.

Anybody else find that odd, intriguing, weird or interesting in any way?

I think it validates the position that no coach can win in Ames.

On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk
And Imma keep a bottle of that funk
To get motel parking lot, balcony crunk.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

What the hell are you talking about?  Earle Bruce had a 36-32 record in the early 70's.  A mere 40 plus years ago.  Just because that's the only coach since 1919 to have a winning record at Iowa State, proves nothing.  Earle proved it CAN be done.

The thing is that there's not too much left on the table after Bert pushes away from it. He's a portly fellow.
