Anyone scalped tickets this season?

Anyone scalped tickets this season?
« on: September 29, 2014, 12:42:34 PM »
So, this weekend on the Plains will be my first trip of the season. Most importantly however, the corndog girlfriend is excited to tag along to experience her first Auburn gameday.

Historically, I've always faired well finding them outside the gates and I'm hoping to do the same for this weekend.

But I do remember reading Auburn had implemented some new rules and was curious if anyone has noticed any major changes that could affect my ability to do my usual negotiating? Not getting tickets isn't an option.

Haven't been to a game yet, but the rule involved official scalpers having to have a license and on display.  I don't think it concerns the avg Joe trying to get rid of his extras.

Outside of that I would say your chances remain the same as they always have been, the waiting game or how much you are willing to $$$

From what I have seen so far, you just need to start about 500 feet further from the stadium to start your search.

Ok, so a little closer than the distance Sani is required to keep from school houses and playgrounds.  :gig: Got it.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I picked up one from a scalper for the Arkansas game. There were several folks with extras outside the stadium, as well. I didn't see any big difference in availability as compared with past years.

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."
