I was thinking off the top of my head that that was wrong, and that it was in fact 2015.

The original was 1985. He went back in time 30 years to 1955 for the first, and ahead in time 30 years for the second to 2015.

For some reason, 2015 has stood out in my mind as the day I should fucking expect hover boards and flying cars.
