My grandfather was one of them....and made it out alive amazingly.

He died 2 years ago with bullet fragments still in his thigh and shoulder from 66 years ago.

The greatest generation indeed........

After being there the last two days I can honestly say that I have ever been among so much.greatness. I spoke to everyone of them I could. Truly amazing men.
