Good to see DT back in the NFL. Hopefully he will stick for next season.

I didn't realize how many guys are on some pretty good teams.

Auburn in the NFL--Playoffs Week One

Taking a look at how former Auburn football players fared in week one of the 2009 NFL Playoffs

Jan. 12, 2010

Karlos Dansby, linebacker-Arizona Cardinals

Dansby played a huge part in Arizona's 51-45 overtime defeat of the Packers in Sunday's NFC Wildcard battle. The former Tiger standout had four tackles, one for a loss, a pass deflection, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble. The recovered fumble was a key part of the contest, as he returned a fumble by Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers and 17 yards for the game-winning touchdown in overtime. The Cardinals move on to play New Orleans next weekend in the second round of the playoffs.

King Dunlap, offensive line- Philadelphia Eagles

Dunlap was inactive in the Eagles' 34-14 loss to the Cowboys Saturday night, which ended Philadelphia's season.

Tyronne Green, guard- San Diego Chargers

The Chargers earned a first-round bye after wrapping up the regular season with a 13-3 record. They will take on the Jets in the divisional round of the playoffs this weekend.

Ben Grubbs, guard-Baltimore Ravens

Grubbs started at left guard in a 33-14 win over New England on Sunday. He was a key part of the Baltimore offensive line that compiled 268 yards of offense, 234 coming on the ground, as the Ravens ended New England's season.

Patrick Lee, defensive back-Green Bay Packers

Lee was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 5 with a knee injury, ending his season.

Marcus McNeill, tackle- San Diego Chargers

The Chargers earned a first-round bye after wrapping up the regular season with a 13-3 record. They will take on the Jets in the divisional round of the playoffs this weekend.

Jerraud Powers, defensive back- Indianapolis Colts

The Colts, who had a bye week to start off the playoffs, will take on the Ravens in the divisional round of the playoffs this weekend.

Jay Ratliff, defensive line- Dallas Cowboys

Ratliff started in the Cowboys' 34-14 win over Philadelphia in the opening round of the playoff, but was held in check by solid Philadelphia offensive line play. Dallas faces Minnesota in the divisional round of the playoffs next weekend.

Tony Richardson, fullback- New York Jets

Richardson was the lead blocker for the Jets' rushing attack that accumulated 171 yards on 41 carries in a 24-14 New York victory over Cincinnati on Saturday. Rookie Shonn Green ran 21 times for 135 yards and a touchdown while Thomas Jones ran 15 times for 34 yards and a score in the win.

Pat Sims, defensive line- Cincinnati Bengals

Sims suffered a broken forearm in the final game of the regular season. He finished the year with 34 tackles, 0.5 sacks and a recovered fumble for the playoff bound Bengals. Without him, the Bengals were defeated 24-14 by the Jets in the opening round of the AFC Playoffs, ending their season.

Jonathan Wilhite, defensive back- New England Patriots

Wilhite played, but did not record any stats in a 33-14 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

So, after Sunday...Auburn will be left with one player to play in the Super Bowl.  I'll go ahead and guess, Jerraud Powers.
