An Auburn University senior is among the 32 American students chosen as Rhodes Scholars for 2010.
Jordan D. Anderson of Salem, Va., is majoring in biomedical sciences at Auburn according to a list of winner's biographies on The Rhodes Trust Web site. He is also an All-American swimmer and captain of the Auburn swim team. Anderson is also active in the Younglife Christian outreach group.
Anderson plans to study global health sciences at Oxford University.
Anderson was the only student on the list from Alabama or from an Alabama school.

That's pretty cool.  I saw an article somewhere a month or so ago on Myron Rolle.  He played at FSU two years ago and skipped the NFL this year to be a Rhodes Scholar.  Talked about how he works out every day over there, and his dorm or house or whatever they call it keeps trying to talk him into playing on their intramural rugby team.  Somehow I don't think that would be fair.
